In loving Memory of Mary Miller, Our dear Mother, "Gran", and "GG" Mary Anderson Marshall Miller was born in Airdrie Scotland and went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 89, on May 21, 2023 in Ajax Pickering, Ontario.
Mary was born to Jean Marshall and Alexander Smith.
She followed her sweetheart Robert Miller to the colony called Canada where they married and raised three children: James & Zahia Miller (Karim & Matina, Patrick & Mary, Josh & Jenn, Mike & Sarah, James & Jess, Joseph & Christine; they have 14 grandchildren) Sandra & Ron Piggott, (Shannon & Colin, Bryan & Kathleen, Steven & Naomi; they have 6 grandchildren) Sean & Liz Miller, (Carolyn & Chris, Brent & Tirzah, Bruce & Ashley, Krista; they have 5 grandchildren).
GG was blessed to have a total of 25 great grandchildren: Rayna, Malek, Grayson, Addison, Quinn, Jack, Jonah, Elsie, Talia, Samuel, Emily, Julia, Jesse, Zachary, Anderson, Gracie, Nora, Lexi, Lily, Ella, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Ryan, Declan & Lyla.
Visitation will be at 12 pm Thursday May 25, 2023 at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave, Ajax, ON. Service will be from 1-2pm at the same locatio.n Private Family interment. Everyone is invited for light refreshments at 2-4pm following the funeral service at Lakedrive Christian Assembly, 90 Lake Driveway, Ajax, ON L1S 2E3. A private Miller family reunion will follow after 4 pm .

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ethna Gibney nee Townsend at the age of 92, Mary passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on May 13th, 2023.
Mary is survived by her husband Brian Gibney of 64 years.
Mother to Sharon (Tony), Adele (Thomas), Grandmother to Georgia, Alexander, Laura, Charlotte, and James.
Missed and loved by her many nieces and nephew and sister-in-law.
Born and raised in Dublin Ireland, Mary loved life, music, song, and travel, she has taken her last journey and we are thankful to the Tony Stacey Center for Veterans for the brief care they provided to her.

In the loving presence of her daughters, Sandy and Susan, Bette passed peacefully and gracefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the age of 92.
Bette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Morrison, her mother, Margaret MacGregor, and father, Murdo MacGregor, her sister, Anne Rice, and step-son, Jeff Morrison.
Bette will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters, Sandy Henderson and Susan Lunn, step-sons Bruce Morrison and Kevin Morrison, and her grandchildren, Katie and Meg, MacGregor and Finley, Erin and Brett.
Bette was a dear friend and mentor to so many, and will be greatly missed by friends and family, near and far.

Marguerite passed peacefully surrounded by her husband and family due to a long battle with cancer.

She was an incredible and loving sister to Joan (John) Pilato. Adorning Aunt to Adrianna (Chris) and Natalie (Vince) and family.

Dear sweet Margery passed away May 15, 2023, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital following an incredibly brave battle with cancer.
The doctors, nurses and staff at both Lakeridge Health Oshawa and St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto are thanked for their skill and devotion while taking care of Margery for the past 6 months.
No words are sufficient to describe the support, professionalism, and caring they demonstrated throughout Margery’s ordeal.
Margery was born in Plympton, Devonshire, England in February 1952, and emigrated to Quebec City, Canada in July 1958.
Since her marriage to Stewart in October 1975, Margery and the family have resided in England, Ontario, British Columbia and even South Korea.
Close to home, her pride and joy has been her husband Stewart and their two wonderful children, Emma (Willer) and Mark, together with their spouses Mark Willer and Rebecca Yeoman and five grandchildren Oliver, Callum, Charlie, Harper and Knox. Margery is also survived by her older brother Michael.
Margery is predeceased by her father, Arthur Fitton and mother, Ivy (nee Rock), as well as her younger brother Nick.
Margery will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Gerrard Road, Whitby, Ontario, followed by a private family interment also at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY.
In lieu of flowers, it is Margery’s wish that donations in her remembrance be made to the R.S.McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre (DRCC) located in Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, or the charity of your choice.

“Aunt Moo” as she was affectionately known, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023 at Winbourne Park LTC in her 104th year, with two of her nieces by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Eugene and her 7 siblings.

Cherished mother of Mary Louise LaBarre (Ken Reilly), Michele LaBarre Huinink (deceased), Patti LaBarre, Babette (Peter Darcy), Bernadette (Eric Dumigan, deceased), Danielle (Garry Robinson) and Nicole (Mark Stire).
Caring foster mother of 15 including Caroline Saville, Marie Sergeant (Stephen) and Christopher Demoe.
Sister of Joan Demoe (deceased), Danny Baird (Nancy), Carol Demoe (Ron, deceased), Johnny Baird (deceased) (Janice), Kathy Webb and Elizabeth Baird.
Beloved grandmother of Samuel, Adrienne, Christopher, Ashley, Kyle, Kevin, Ryan, Colin, Morgan, Gregory, Christopher, Jennifer, Alison, Caitlin, Laura, Natalie, Nathan, Nicholas, Zachary, and Jacob. Proud great grandmother of 17.
Maureen deeply loved her family and had a strong Roman Catholic faith.
She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for several decades.
She had a successful career as a restaurateur (Coach House Restaurant, Whitby), and later as a real estate agent (Royal LePage Frank).
She was also a dedicated volunteer of St. Vincent’s Kitchen for 25 years.
Maureen has left behind a legacy of delicious food, impeccable fashion sense and the strong values of faith and family. We are all better because we had her in our lives. She will be so dearly missed.
Flowers respectfully declined, donations made to St.Vincent’s Kitchen in Oshawa are welcomed. Holy masses are also greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME (5295 Thickson Rd. Whitby, ON). Thursday May 11th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (903 Giffard St. Whitby, ON) Friday May 12th at 12:30pm. Reception to follow

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Anne Swartout, the only daughter of Ab and Muriel Burleigh.
After a courageous battle with cancer for three and a half years, Michelle passed away peacefully, on May 2, 2023.
She is now free from pain and has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour.
Michelle is the beloved wife of Harry Swartout for 37 years.
Much-loved cousin of Sharon Campbell, Suzanne (Neil) Brown, Kelli Campbell, and Brian (Birgit) Campbell. Michelle was predeceased by her cousin, Brett Campbell.
Funeral Service for Michelle will be held at the Little Britain Community Baptist Church, 489 Eldon Road, Little Britain, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 11 a.m.
