Beloved wife of the late Frank Wilbur.

Loving mother of Susan (The late George) Todgham, the late Brian Wilbur, Bradd (Mary), Wayne (Patricia) and Sheri (Cody). Proud grandma of thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

As per Irene's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, ON, at 3:00p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Alzheimer Society would be much appreciated.

Born in Savignano, Irpimo, Avellino, Italy.

She came to Canada on February 20th 1963, to be with her sister Maria (late Michele) and to then settle in Oshawa.

Iolanda will be dearly missed by her husband Giuseppe, her three children John, Carmela and Lorenzo, her sisters Maria (late Michele) and Anna (Arnaldo Braccia), and late brothers Mario Volpe and Giovanni Alessio. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for Visitation on Monday July 31st from 6pm until 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary of the People Roman Catholic Church (Oshawa) on Tuesday August 1st at 11am. Interment to follow the mass at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Foundation.

Beloved wife of Floyd Fowler.

Iris worked as a press operator in the Wiring and Harness Department at GM.

She retired in 1981 with the ambition to go to every mall in Ontario with her sister Martha.

As per her own wishes, cremation has taken place and the family wish to bury her cremated remains at a later date.

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Irene A. Nisbet (nee Bino) announces her peaceful passing at home on June 25, 2023, with her daughters by her side.

Irene was in her 93rd year.

Devoted daughter of the late Irene (nee Papp) and Anthony Bino.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Nisbet.

Cherished mother of Catharine (Douglas) and Susan (Michael). The best-ever Grandma/Nana to Courtney, Mitchell, William, and Sarah.

Irene was enchanted by her two great grand-daughters, Julia and Emily who fondly called her n’other Gramma. She will be dearly missed by her sister Judy (late Alfred) and brothers Robert (Rita) and Richard (Marion). Irene will, forever, remain in the hearts of many.

Irene often spoke fondly of her time working at the Oshawa GM offices along-side her many life-long friends. Her knitting club family weathered through the decades with monthly meetings that, in the end, had absolutely nothing to do with knitting. At every opportunity she cooked up a storm for her family.

Her famous, tried, and true, recipes have become family traditions to be passed down for generations to come.

Irene was also a devoted skating mom as figure skating was a family affair.

Her love of angels was well known, and many contributed to her world-wide collection.

Irene will rest in peace among the real angels. A private Interment will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.

Donations are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Age 95 of Oshawa Ontario, passed away peacefully with her daughter Debra by her side at Hillsdale Terraces on Monday, June 19, 2023.

Ilean was born on May 10, 1928 to parents Andrew and Ellen (Hird) Irwin in Cavan Ontario.

Grandparents Annie and Joseph Hird and Annie and William Irwin.

In 1948, Ilean met Layton Treen at a community dance and married soon after on March 26, 1949.

Ilean worked, for a short period, at the Quaker Oats and resigned as their children arrived; Linda, Debra, Ronald and Stephen. Ilean was predeceased by her husband Layton after 45 years of marriage in 1994 and her daughter Linda in 2018.

Ilean leaves cherished memories to her children, Debra (Ken) Wasiluk, Ron (Mary Ellen, 2017), Treen and Stephen (Linda) Treen. Beloved grandchildren Mark (Dawna), Matt (Becki), Treena, Kendra, Lanie, Kelly (Adrian), Alexandra (Steven), Zachary (Jenna), Taylor (Nick) and Karly (Chris), great-grandchildren Nathan (Mikayla), William (Kathleen), Elizabeth and Caleb, Jameson, Dimitri and Harper as well as a great-great-grandson Phillipe.

Ilean was a sister and predeceased by her 6 sisters and 2 brothers; Clifford, Myrtle (George), Ruby (Alec), Mable (Jimmy), Jane (Vic), Ione (Whip) and Loreen (Norm) and Laverne.

A celebration of life will be held in September with family and friends. Her final resting place will be with Layton at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough.

A special thank you from our family to all staff at Hillsdale Terrances, Sugar Trail, for their care and compassion shown to Ilean and our family during her final years.

Ian Tokarski will be profoundly missed by his bride of 53 years, Lynda Sue Tokarski (nee Killah) and was the proud father of Kimberly Ann, Derek Stuart (Michaela), John Kevin (Sarah) and sadly predeceased by his infant daughter, Katherine Louise (1972).

Ian is predeceased by his parents, Anna and Jan Tokarski as well as his brother Douglas and sister Sandra.

He will also be fondly remembered as a loving uncle, cousin, and friend.

Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, May 26, 2023, at age 91.

Born on April 18, 1932 in the Italian village of Colleberardi, Igino was one of seven children to Anna (nee Gugliemi) and Gaetano Zeppieri.

He immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his family, settling first in Toronto and then permanently in Whitby, Ontario.

He is survived by Angela Maria (nee Mastracci), his beloved wife of 63 years.

Proud and loving father of Violante Boccia (Bruno), Roberta Vachon (Richard), and Loretana Porco (Alfredo); and cherished Nonno Gino to Nina (Khalil), Erica (Frank), Alex (Sylvia); Makayla and Carson; Joseph and Victoria (Joey).

He is survived by his siblings Franco (Dina) and Gabrielle (late Attilia), and pre-deceased by his siblings Erminia (late Mario), Alberto (late Luigina), Enio (late Rita), and Rodolfo (Lidia).

He will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada, Italy, and France.

Our heartfelt thanks to the many health care workers from St Elizabeth's, Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and other agencies for their care and compassion. We will miss him dearly and he will always be in our hearts.

Surrounded by love, our mother Isabell Caroline Wilson (nee Winter) entered into rest in her home the morning of May 25 at age 93.

She was the loving mother of Melody (Roger Moase), Janice (Joe Bonnici), Kim (Greg Rahme) and Jay Neill.

Isabell was predeceased by her husband Murray and later, her friend Lloyd Short.

Mom was a devoted grandmother to Jen, Brad, Lauri-Ann, Darryl, Shona, Darby, Stefan and Josh.

She was also a dear Nana to seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Our family is beyond grateful to Dr. Nancy Kazarian for her exceptional care of our mother. Her kindness and compassion went above and beyond what any family could ask for. Mom was happiest when surrounded by her family and her flowers. Rest easy, Mom. We love you forever!

The family of Isabell Wilson will receive family and friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 1 pm. A Service to celebrate Isabell’s life will be held in the Chapel at 2 pm.
