Olive Heron, 96, of Ajax, ON, passed away August 26, 2022.
Olive, daughter of Herbert and Elsie Pritchard, loving wife of George, passed away quietly in Ajax Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, George; five children, Chris (Simonne), Susan (Tom) Kennedy, Jan (Larry) Noonan, Greg (Laurie), and Pat (Rose); 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Chuck (Maude) and Walter (Doris); and is survived by her brother, Gordon (Leanne).
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Olive also loved getting together with her family.
Throughout her entire life, Olive held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Olive was the daughter of Antoine and Theresa Aubrey and was predeceased by her bothers, William, Armand, Melville, Leonard, Ernie, John, and sisters Pearl Garness, and Marion Howika.
She leaves to mourn her daughters Shirley Fingler and Linda Lee (and son-in-law, Thomas), grandchildren, Stephanie Lee, Christopher Lee, Daniel Fingler and great grandchildren, Cora and Nolan Parashyniak, Brandon, Trevor and Logan Fingler and many nieces and nephews.

Ziade, Odette, age 69, of Ajax Ontario, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 14, 2022.
She is survived by her husband Derek, her son Andrew and his wife Joy, her brother Michele, sister Emily, and grandchildren Elianna, Elias, Sloane and Mason.
Born and raised in Aghmeed Lebanon, Odette immigrated to Canada in the early 1970’s, settling down in Toronto where her son Andrew was born.
As a young single mother, Odette raised Andrew with love and dedication; instilling in him the important values of hard work and family.
Odette and Derek met in 1990 and quickly realized they were meant for each other.
Over three decades their relationship continued to grow developing into an incredible love story full of life, family and laughter.
Odette loved nothing more than her family.
She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and travelling; especially back home to Lebanon to spend time with her mother, brother and other beloved relatives.

Peacefully in the wee hours at her home of 64 years, on Friday April 15, 2022 in her 91st year.
Orma Jennie McKinlay-Wilde left us to be with her Father in heaven celebrating her time on earth with her first husband Donald D. McKinlay; predeceased by her parents Walter R. Wellman and Edith J. Hudson; predeceased by her twin sister Norma and brother Roland R. Wellman.
Orma leaves for a time, her husband Bill Wilde of 21 years.
Survived by her children Brian McKinlay (Lindsay), Sandra McKinlay, Grant McKinlay (Debbie); grandchildren Adam (Cindy), Kyle, Sheldon, (Brittany), Patrick (Jesse), Matthew (Julianne), Courtney (Dominique), and predeceased by Alexander.
Orma also leaves behind stepchildren, Vicky, Diane (Dave), Wendy, Laura (Peter) and grandchildren Heather (Andy), Josh (Kelly), Bryan (Jessica) Chris (Sonya), Daniel (Precious), Corrie (Bill).
Plus great grandchildren Mia, Pearl, Nora, Merrick, Tenley, Maykayla, Abby, Jocelyn, Leah, and Liam. Born August 18, 1931 in Orillia Ontario, Orma has many accomplishments as a dietary supervisor at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital, Ajax/Pickering Hospital, and at Ballycliff Lodge.
After building a home in Orillia with her husband Don, they moved and raised her family in Whitby, living in the same house for 64 years. Orma and Bill were members of the Faith Baptist Church in Whitby.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm, and on Thursday April 22, 2022 from 12:30 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.

It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of Olive May Forrest on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 88, with daughter Fiona and son-in-law Bobby by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Robert Scott Forrest (1990) and survived by son Douglas and daughter Fiona (Bobby), and step-grandsons Derek (Lauren) and Ryan, and step-great- granddaughter Sophia.
Olive was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 27, 1933, to Olive May Borrowdale and Henry McKenzie.
She attended Gillespie‘s school for girls.
At the age of 23 she married and emigrated with her husband, Bert, to Toronto, Canada.
By 1966 the family settled in Willowdale (North York).
Olive had a passionate love of music and spent her life time teaching piano, theory, and history of music. For many years she volunteered her time with Canadian Music Competitions (CMC) organizing concerts for up-and-coming young classical Canadian artists. She was equally passionate about knitting and created thousands of beautifully hand-crafted garments which she loved to sell at local craft shows.
Having grown up with cats and dogs, Olive was an animal lover. For years she fostered sick and injured cats and donated generously to their safety and well-being.
“Olivia” will be fondly remembered as a sweet lady who was loved by all. Her infectious laugh and sparkly eyes will never be forgotten. She is deeply missed.

It is with heartfelt sorrow the family of Olive Hanna announce her passing at the age of 78. Olive passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2022 in Ajax, Ontario.
Olive was born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland on February 18th,1944 to her late Parents Charles and Nancy Kennedy.
After immigrating to Canada from Northern Ireland with her family, Olive raised her children Susan and Mark with love and devotion in Scarborough, Ontario with her late husband Robert Hanna.
Olive was also a very devoted and loving Grandmother to her Grandchildren Kaylie, Austin, Keira, Mackenzie and Kendra.
As a Registered Nurse in both Northern Ireland and Ontario, Canada, Olive was known for her compassion and high level of care for all of her Patients. Her hobbies included Gardening, Home Improvements and spending time with her Grandchildren.
She is survived by her Children Susan Estrela (Ric) and Mark Hanna (Kim) as well as her Grandchildren Kaylie Estrela, Keira Estrela, Kendra Estrela, Austin Hanna and Mackenzie Hanna.
Olive was the loving sister to Renee, Gloria, Margaret, Carol, Hazel, Christine, Sharon, Trevor and her late brother Robert, also Aunt and Great Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.
Olive’s caring and compassionate nature as well as her zest for life will be greatly missed by all of her Family and Friends that loved and knew her.
Services will be held on Friday March 18th, 2022 at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, Ontario. Visitation starting at 1 pm followed by the Funeral Ceremony at 2 pm.
