It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Claudia Parpit at the age 73 on May 20, 2021.

Beloved and wife to Rudy for almost 48 years.

Cherished mother to Tasha, Nadia (Mike) and Felicia (Carlo).

Proud and devoted grandmother to Touré, Aeva, Carmelo and Eliana.

Dear sister to her 12 siblings and loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by her extended family and many friends. Claudia was such a loving, giving, social, nurturing, self-less and family-oriented woman.

She loved to entertain her family and many close friends.

She was the family caregiver and made sure everything got done. She could never sit still, either doing some kind of house work or gardening. Most of all, she loved to see everyone enjoying themselves and the smiles of all her loved ones. She cared so much for us all and we will love and miss her forever.

In honour of Claudia, donations to the Scarborough Health Network - Centenary Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the Visitation and the Funeral Service on Thursday May 27, 2021, are private and by invitation only through the family.

Peacefully, with his wife by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, May 17th, 2021 in his 82nd year.

He was married to Jean (Curtis) McIntyre, the love of his life for almost 60 years.

He was a loving Dad to Andra (Greg) Cuicani of Hamilton and Nancy (Spencer) Albion of Oshawa, and a special Papa to his grandchildren, Marcus, Cameron and Eric; Rebecca, Nathan and Graham.

He leaves behind 3 brothers, Ross (Laura), Lloyd (Debbie) and Lorne (Mary) and their families.

Cliff had a passion for flying and anything mechanical.

He was a longtime employee of General Motors.

Adored sister of Beverly (Fred), Bobby (Linda), Danny (Lesley) & Jacquie. And predeceased by her sister Debbie (2010). Fondly remembered by her nephews & nieces Luke (Jessica), Jesse (Megan), Olivia, Tim. Along with many friends, cousins and neighbours.

A special thank you to her lifelong best friend & family friend Roxanne Tommasulo.

Cindy was vibrant beautiful loving soul with a heart of gold, a quick wit & great sense of humour. Her love for her daughter, family, friends was immeasurable. Along with her passion for her pets - most recently her beloved Miniature Bull Terrier Vudu.

Raised in Guildwood Village into a large family of six siblings, Cindy was the middle child. A happy, outgoing, friendly sociable girl who made friends anywhere she went

In Cindy's own words her greatest accomplishment in life was her beautiful daughter Selena.

Cecile was an avid 5 pin bowler in Thunder Bay & Oshawa as well as an accomplished dart player, she once won the Ontario Mixed Doubles with her dart partner Jerrie Bouche. She spent many years as an accounting clerk for various moving companies in East GTA.

In winter months she would be found in various hockey arenas cheering on her grandsons and their teams.

She enjoyed different types of crafting and was overjoyed when she was able to share that with her granddaughters.

After an eleven-month battle with cancer, Chad passed away peacefully at home in Pickering, Ontario with his family by his side.

He was a strong spirited person that loved outdoor activities and sports, especially at times when it brought his family together.

Throughout his life he faced adversity and overcame many challenges with strength and determination, traits which were instilled by his predeceased parents, Everett and Patricia Sorrie.

Chad was a beloved brother of Tricia & Ed Kozma and Suzanne Sorrie, as well as, an adored uncle to Amy, Evan, Erin, Emma, Eden, Nathan and Kaitlyn. He is now reunited with his mother, father, and his little dog Boomer.

Rest in peace Chad.

Peacefully on April 28th, 2021, Lucille passed away at Extendicare Oshawa in her 98th year.

Born in Darlington Township on August 2nd, 1923 Lucille was the daughter of Edward and Bert (Alberta) Wade.

Predeceased by her husband William Cecil Pierson in 2002, Lucille is survived by her daughter Gaye and son-in-law Greg Thrasher, son Kenneth Pierson and daughter-in-law Margaret.

She will be very missed by her grandchildren Lauren and Dave Perry, Brittney and Steve Tillaart, Brooke Pierson, Sarah Thrasher and Michael Menard as well as her great-grandchildren Christopher, Lainey, Caiden, Beau and Cam.

Lucille was the last surviving member of the eight Wade family children.

She was predeceased by sisters May Rutter, Norma Short, Evelyn Sweetman, Doris Cole, Irma Hardy and brothers William and Charles.

A former long-time employee of Roy Nichols Motors – Bowmanville/Courtice, Lucille was a Life Member of Harmony United Church and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 Oshawa.

Lucille will be remembered for her life-long volunteering and the many friendships she made throughout her life.

Our Ma/Nana was the best and will be lovingly remembered by us all.

We are so lucky to have had her in our lives for so long.

On Wednesday, April 21st, Cindy Louise Wetmore passed away at the age of 60 after battling a sudden illness.

The sun rose and the world welcomed Cindy on March 7th, 1961, a day the world became a little brighter.

Cindy lived a full and warm life, filled with joy.

She enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching and celebrating Christmas. Cindy was a shining light and touched the hearts of many in the community.

Cindy will always be remembered for her faith, positivity, kindness and infectious laugh.

She will be forever missed and loved by her husband, Dave, daughter, Kate, son-in-law, Brandon, sister, Judy, brother-in-law, John, beloved family pet, Diamond, and the many other family and friends whose lives she touched.

The family thanks Markham Stouffville Hospital and all of Cindy’s doctors, nurses and caregivers who cared for her throughout the years.

Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life service for Cindy will be held at a future date.

Chris enjoyed his cottage, his favourite place to be, with the water behind him, the sun at his back, drink in hand and his family by his side.

Chris was actively involved in hockey, golf and especially dance with his girls as part of the Theatre Dance Academy “Dance Dads”.

He also enjoyed his ‘49ers football club, the New Jersey Devils a good cigar and a shot of Jack Daniels.

A drive-up visitation will take place at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2 Courtice on Friday April 23 from 4 to 8 pm where friends will be able to pay their respects to Chris.
