Born September 19th 1921 in Ingersol, Ontario.Died on December 30th 2015 in Oshawa.Enlisted in 1939 and spent 6 years and 10 days in the Service of Canada, here and in Europe.He sang in the GM Choir, Whitby Jubilee Choir, and St. Mark’s Choir and was a former member of the Ontario Harness Racing Association.Frank is survived by his son Clayton (Joyce), daughter Frances Fita (Rick), Grandchildren Scott, Andrew, Aaron, Jeff, Victoria and Great Grandchildren Cora, Kyle, Andrea, Kayla, Jack and Ryan.Thanks to Barbara Breckenridge who helped Frank in his latter years as a friend, lunch companion, driver and confidant.Thanks to the staff on 7C for taking such good care of Dad.A service will be held at St. Marks United Church 201 Centre Street South, Whitby on Saturday January 9th 2016 at 1 PM , with visitation from 12PM until time of Service.A reception in the church hall will follow the service.If so desired, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Alzheimer’s Society, or CHARITY of Your Choice.
