It is with heartfelt sorrow that we share the passing of Cindy Elliott.

We said good-bye to Cindy on Friday April 9, 2021.

As always, her soulmate Bob was by her side and her dear daughter Laurel was in her heart.

Cindy was thankful that she lived a wonderful life! She had countless extraordinary memories and felt very loved by so many.

She hoped that she left those in her life with wonderful memories and feeling very loved as well. Cindy was so enthusiastic and supportive with an amazing sense of humour.

She felt very strongly that life is meant to be lived and that everyone needs to enjoy the moment and had faith that karma would prevail.

She had 2 wonderful families. Her family who chose her; Laurie, Bounce and Michael Elliott and her family who found her; Myrna, Peter, Cory, Alicia, Sophia, Chiara Pacione and cousins that became like sisters. Cindy leaves behind her dear daughter Laurel.

Cindy was so grateful to have found her soulmate Bob Brooks. They enjoyed a wonderful life together.

Bob was Cindy’s caregiver til the end. She was so thankful for his on-going support and love. It was a very difficult time, but it was made better by being together. When it came tIme to say goodbye, as always, Bob was by her side.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date when we can all be together and honour our dear friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Coboconk Wellness Centre would be greatly appreciated. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/the-wellness-centre/.

Carol Anne Hepburn

Carol Anne Hepburn

Listed in

(August 19, 1947 - April 2, 2021)

Carol passed away at home on April 2, 2021.

Incredible mom to Amy Paradine (Philip) and Sara Forbes (John).

The most fantastic Grandma to Alexandria, Lucy and Logan.

Will be missed and remembered by David and Annie Hepburn, and her siblings Richard, Wendy and Ken.

Carol was a special person to many family and friends.

Carol meant the world to her family and they will miss her forever.

Anyone who knew Carol knew her kids and grandkids were the centre of her world.

Carol, Amy and Sara spent years making memories together and she was always their biggest advocate and cheerleader (even when they both took turns giving her gray hair).

Carol was an amazing grandparent; both a true partner in crime and confidant to her grandkids.

She insisted on not “having a fuss” made of her when she passed but really hoped those who knew her would remember her after she was gone by telling stories, hugging family, getting ice cream and finding fun adventures with loved ones.

At her request, a small family gathering will be held as soon as possible, where the family will dress in bright colours and reminisce about happy times, of which there are many.

Condolences, fond memories and tributes are appreciated by the family and can be added to through the Courtice Funeral Chapel site.

Should you wish to make a donation in honour of Carol, please consider donating to Sick Kids Hospital (Alex and Lucy’s choice) or Jump Start (Logan’s choice).

Carol supported both these charities and they meant a lot to her and the family.

Mom will be loved forever and missed even longer.

Arrangements entrusted to COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484).
