In his 92nd year and with his loving wife at his side, George passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Beloved husband to Elaine (nee Molloy).
Loving father to Michael (late Kathy), Kimberley (Joe), Scott (Linda), Andrea, Douglas (deceased), David, and Peter (deceased).
Doting grandpa of Kristin, Jennifer, Brandon, Alison, Jarrett, Rachael, Elizabeth, Marc, Alexandra, and Jacob. Proud great-grandpa of thirteen wonderful great-grandchildren.
George and Elaine enjoyed many years of world travel, winter vacations in the sun, golfing, and relaxing by the pool, allwith family and friends.
Above all, they enjoyed hosting birthday celebrations and holiday suppers with children and grand-children around the table.
The family thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support.
Thanks also to the wonderful staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the care and compassion shown to George.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date when it is safe to gather again.

Peacefully on Saturday April 10, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 55th year.
Gregory is predeceased by his father Allan Russell Wood and sister Judy Stasinski.
He is the beloved son of Olive Wood and dear brother of Patricia Coffey (Mike) and Wendy Bonifacio (John).
Greg was a loving member of the Community Living Oshawa Clarington family and will be deeply missed.
Due to current circumstances, a memorial will be held at a later date to be determined.

Of Oshawa passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 7, 2021 at Norview Lodge Simcoe, Ontario.
Born in Waarshoot East Flanders Belgium May 23, 1927.
Beloved wife of the late Alfons Notte (2006).
Predeceased by two infant children at birth.
Also predeceased by sisters Yvonne D’Hont/Van Hoorebeke (1989) and Simona D’Hont/Van Vooren (2010).
Ghis will be missed by her sister-in-law Georgette Ghesquiere, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Ghis will also be missed by her extended family and friends in Oshawa.
A special Thank-You to Ghis’s caregivers at Norview Lodge for their care and compassion.
Ghis’s prayers have been answered as her wishes were to be with Al and her children.
Due to covid restrictions, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

George retired from General Motors after over 44 years of service. He was a member and actively involved with Standardbred Racing Association.

Suddenly after a courageous battle with cancer Gayle passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 73.
Predeceased by her husband Garry.
Dear mother of Deborah Findlay and her husband Andrew and David and his wife Kelly.

It is with deep sadness and never-ending love to announce the passing of Gerald Eugene Allen.
Gerald passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children, on Monday, March 29th, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
He is survived by his children Jennifer (Joe), Kelly (Trevor), Lindsay (Josh) and Michael (Esther) and Shirley Allen (loving mother of his children).
Loving and devoted grandpa of James, Emma, Lauren, Katelyn, Sarah, Harper and Sophie.
Affectionately and forever remembered as ‘Papa Gerald’.
Gerald grew up on a farm in Blackfoot, Alberta with his mother (Emma), father (Earl) and his brothers Fred, Wilmer, Johnny, Stanley, David, Harvey and his cherished sisters, May and Anna.
He moved to Toronto in 1968 and in 1975 settled in Oshawa, where he made his home and raised his family.
Gerald will always be remembered for his uncanny ability to solve any problem you had, his love for family dinners, chocolate and his hobbies including making quilts for all of his children and grandchildren.
Most of all, he will be remembered for the deep love he had for his children and family, and always being the father you could count on.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to his palliative Nurse Valerie, his PSW Katelyn and the staff from Lakeridge Health Oshawa palliative care unit.
As well to all the friends and extended family who have supported us through this difficult journey.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Gerald “Gerry” Steele, peacefully at his home in Uxbridge with family by his side on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the age of 82.
Gerry was a devoted and loving husband of Beverley (nee Hadley) for over 54 years and father to Rob (Sue Shepherd) of Port Perry and Lisa (Michael Odlozinski) of Orillia who were his pride and joy.
“Papa” was so proud of his six grandchildren: Rachel and Nathan Steele; Jonah, Ethan, Max, and Myles Odlozinski.
He leaves his brother John Steele (Ruth) of Almonte, sister Jessie Henderson of Ottawa, brother-in-law Jack Hadley from Stratford, PEI, Judy Lilly, and nieces Katie and Anna Hadley and their families of Pointe Claire, Quebec.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date in Almonte, Ontario.
