Vincent D’Souza, previously of Karachi, Pakistan, and most recently of Ajax, ON, passed away quietly in his home on September 21, 2023, at the age of 85.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Isabella "Bella" D’Souza.
He leaves behind his daughters, Christiann (Tyrone) Mascarenhas, Charmaine (Alex) Soares, Cerrina (Ronald) D’Souza, Carrolyn (Aldrin) Pereira, and Claudette (David) Duncan, and his grandchildren: Hannah Mascarenhas, Jeremiah, Isaiah & Daniel Soares, Dayle, Nicole, David & Naomi D’Souza, Jordan Pereira, and Grant & Claire Duncan.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (1001 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax, ON). The family will be available at the church before the service from 9:00 - 10:00 am for those wishing to pay their respects.
After the service, the family will have a private celebration of life.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after suffering a stroke at the age of 80.
Predeceased by parents Charles and Irene (Feaver) Stewart.
Devoted mother of Nicholas (Pam), Barbara (Roger) and Philip (Helen).
Doting grandmother to Jessica, Samantha, Caeley and Olivia, and devoted Gigi to Anabelle, Violet and Lily.
Cherished sister to John (late Ann) and Lynda (Richard), and proud aunt to Karen, Robert (Jeanine), Claire (James), and James (Amy).
She will be fondly remembered by stepsons Raymond and George and their families.
Val will be deeply missed by her dear friends Nilma, Diana and Donna. Val will also be deeply missed by her extended family at the Mary St. N Community Garden where she spent much of her time sharing her enthusiasm for gardening and making connections with everyone.
She will be fondly remembered by Liz and her dominos companions, and her many friends at No Frills, H&R Block and Liberty Tax. Val's caring and fun-loving personality made her friends where ever she lived, worked or played.
A special thank you to the critical care and palliative nurses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Val during her stay.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will follow at a later date. The family will extend an invitation to all who knew her.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valerie Kelly at the age of 77.
Born in Hull, England, and after a courageous battle with cancer, she left us in Bowmanville, Ontario.
Valerie lived a life full of passion, strength, and love.
She was a beacon of resilience and determination, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her, especially her loving husband, Pat Kelly.
Valerie is survived by her devoted husband, Pat, her sons, Sean (Kerry) and Steven, and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler (Emily) and Meghan.
Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, strength, and a touch of that fiery spirit she was so well-known for.
A lover of life's simple pleasures, Valerie relished her winters in Florida, the thrill of casinos and keeping Pat on his toes.
Her zest for life was palpable, making her the unforgettable, strong woman that many came to know and love.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the care and compassion shown to Valerie by the staff at Bowmanville Hospital Complex Continuing Care.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Ross Westcott on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, at Spencer House in Orillia, with his daughter Teresa by his side.
Ross was the loyal and devoted husband to his late wife Margie (nee Acton) 1998 for over 50 years.
Loving father of Ross Jr (Wendy), Ron (Liz) and Teresa (Brian).
Ross Sr. was born on May 26th, 1927, to the late Jack and Ann Westcott.
He was the middle child with two older sisters, the late Grace (Pat) Pattison, the late Eunice (John) Sartell, and two younger sisters, the late Muriel (Russ) Betts, and is survived by his youngest sister, Shirley (Bill) Deconkey.
Loving Grampa of Peter, Christine, Cheryl, Ashley, Ryan, Darryl, Phillip, Robert, David, and Paul. Great Grampa of Charlotte, Benjamin, Scottie, Felix, Sophia, Luca, Emily, Damien, and Bryson.
Ross grew up on the family farm located on the 10th concession of Thorah Township and lived in the Township all his life, managing a successful multigenerational farm business which was established by his grandfather. He took great pride in managing his beef and sheep livestock operation.
Ross’ Sports Career began in 1936 at the Church picnic which took place at Couchiching Park
in Orillia, where he won a race and was awarded a shiny new jack knife. That was the beginning of his
love and passion for sport, be it track, hockey or baseball.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 12th at the Mangan Funeral Home, from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1P.M. Interment to follow in Beaverton.

Veronica passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023 at the age of 99 years.
Predeceased by her husband Walter Errol Thorne, she is survived by her three children, Errol Robert, Brenda Elizabeth Watt (nee Thorne) and Claudia Dollard (nee Thorne) as well as three grand children and five great grand children.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Revera ThorntonView Long Term Care Home in Oshawa, where Veronica spent the last years of her life.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held for immediate family.
