Elisabetta - of Toronto, Ontario and formerly of Vita, Italy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Lakeridge Health Ajax and Pickering Hospital at the age of 78.Elisabetta was predeceased by her loving husband on February 12, 2019, whom she shared 54 years of marriage.Beloved mother of Angela Humphrey (Kevin) and Anna Maria Renda; adored nonna to Michael Tiangco, Marisa Humphrey, Nicholas Humphrey and Jacob Tiangco; bisnonna to Nathan Vince-Tiangco.Elisabetta’s pride and joy was her family.Elisabetta will be resting at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax. Visitation is being held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. Ernest Edward Mosher - 1928-2019 Ernie passed away on November 13, 2019 surrounded by family at the age of 91.He left behind five daughters, Carol Mosher, Brenda Mosher-van Hoof (John van Hoof), Judy Trunks (Harry Trunks), Sharon Mosher (Erik Jensen) and Diane Lavoie (Vince Lavoie). Wait, there's more...he also left behind seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. With his late wife, Agnes Mosher, he created a family built on much love, laughter and devotion. Ernie has seen some hard times in his life.Most notably, when serving in the Korean War (for which we are humbly grateful) and for living in a one-bathroom home with five daughters and his wife.Visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, on November 17, 2019, at 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM., and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service in the Chapel, on November 18, 2019, at 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM.To this day, we're still not sure which was worse. But he saw many more beautiful things in his life.He watched his daughters grow up in and eventually leave the house on Liverpool Rd to start families of their own and careers of their own.He saw many family dinners filled with lots of yelling and lots of love and he was always up for a game of Crib or Gin Rummy.

Everett Hubertus - March 10, 1927 – November 12, 2019A long time resident of Whitby, Ontario, Everett immigrated from the Netherlands in 1951 after serving in the Dutch army in Indonesia.He came to Canada by plane, landing in Montreal before making his way to southern Ontario where he found employment on a farm in Sunderland.He then found employment on John Hooyer’s farm in Nestleton where he met the love of his life, Florence Bakker, picking tobacco.Everett and Florence moved to Whitby together where they married at St Mark’s United Church and had three children; Anita, Cora, and Edward. Everett’s working carrier included employment with Whitby Dunlop Tire, Firestone, and Denton Industrial.An active member of the Abilities Centre and a proud member of the Whitby Horticultural society, Everett enjoyed his retirement years gardening, woodworking, and watching his six grandchildren grow up.Beloved husband of the late Florence (nee Bakker).Loving father to Anita Treffers (Barry Pierunek), Cora Gerritsen-Menard (Patrick Menard), and Ed Gerritsen (Lydia Vysma-Gerritsen).Proud Opa to Bryan Treffers, Laura Treffers (Thomas), Eric Menard (Vanessa), Julie Menard (Tyler), Kristen Gerritsen, and Sarah Gerritsen (Mitch).Brother to Anneke Schrijver and predeceased by Egbert Gerritsen. Edward Wesley Andrews - Wes was a proud WWII Air Force veteran.February 1, 1925 - November 7, 2019Born in Toronto It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Edward Wesley Andrews in his 95th year.Wes passed away peacefully at his home in his sleep on Thursday November 7, 2019.Loving husband of the late Patricia Anne (Whattam) for over 50 years.He will be fondly remembered by his sons Greg (Sharon), Garth (Linda), Gary (Cindy), his grandchildren Jason (Kerri), Jordan, Trevor, Kristie (Andy), Talyn (Joe), Caitlyn (Eric) and his great grandchildren Sophia, Sydney, Cooper and Edison.Wes was a proud Chartered Accountant and practiced for over 50 years.He will be greatly missed by his family.At Wes’s request a private family service was held. A celebration of life will held at a future date.

Elizabeth "Betty Ann" - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Burrowes (nee Cherwenka) at Centenary Hospital on Wednesday October 23, 2019 at the age of 73 after a very happy life filled with loving family and friends. Beloved wife of Cecil "Cy" for 45 years. Dear mom of Barbara (David) and proud grandmother of Claire. Adored sister of Bunny (Michael), Tony (Marge), and Richie (Millie) and sister-in-law of Betty, and Doug (Yvonne). She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Betty Ann had a warm and loving spirit and a positive outlook on most everything, with a remarkable ability to smile and laugh at life. She loved to sew, knit and cross stitch. Betty Ann's creativity and sewing talents led to countless beautiful items; many of which we will have to remember her by. Betty Ann also enjoyed baking especially at Christmas and was a welcoming hostess who very much enjoyed having family and friends over for a celebration meal. She was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but wonderful memories. She will be very fondly remembered and terribly missed.Visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on November 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
