Passed away at Victoria Manor, Lindsay on Sunday, July 23rd at the age of 98 years.
Dear mother of Catherine (Brian) Haick, Thomas (Cindy) Spry, Donald Spry and the late William Spry.
Proud grandmother to Amanda Haick Everitt, Matthew Haick, Melinda Spry Presley and the late Michael Spry. Loving great grandmother to Addison, Frankie, Brennan, Sam and Joe.
Beloved wife of the late Earl B. Spry, and long time resident of Maple Grove, Velma was predeceased by all four of her siblings. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.
Velma enjoyed knitting, gardening and baking. She was well known for her wonderful custom cakes.
She will be remembered lovingly by all who knew and cherished her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria Manor for all the wonderful, loving care and good times they gave Velma this past two years
Velma’s family is following her wishes of not having a funeral.
Velma will be cremated and placed beside her husband in Orono Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held from 2 – 4 pm on September 15, 2023, at the Royal Canadian Legion 109 King Street East Bowmanville, Ontario for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Verna announce her passing at the Peterborough Regional Hospital on Monday July 24, 2023 at the age of 97.
Verna was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Attwood (2001) and loving mom to Kathy (McLauchlan). Much loved grandmother of Cindy (Greg Jones), Terri (Mike Cavanagh) and Kate (Tim Sales).
Special GG to Charlie Jones, Brendan Jones, Amelia Sales and Caleb Sales. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Verna is survived by one brother, Stewart Bray. She is predeceased by her parents John and Maude Bray and her siblings, Rita, Dorothy, Harold, Jack, Marjorie, Earl, Noreen and Jean.
Verna was a member of Benevolent Rebekah Lodge, No. 132, for 70 years. She was great seamstress and also loved to knit, crochet and smock. Verna enjoyed bingo and later going to casinos including all of the music concerts she could attend.
A service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Road North, Whitby, at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2023 with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. A Rebekah service will be held prior to the funeral service. Reception will follow after which interment will be at GROVESIDE CEMETERY for those who wish to attend.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Vaughn Crofford. After a brief battle with cancer, Vaughn succumbed on June 25, 2023 at the Ajax hospital.
Vaughn, a “Western boy”, was born October 1, 1949 in Craik, Saskatchewan, to parents Earl and Gertrude (Rowe) Crofford (both deceased).
He will be sorely missed by his best friend and partner Maureen Hizaka. His daughters Susan (Ryan) and Sandra, (Jamie - the son he never had) and his grandson, Austin Vaughn Kerr, his namesake. He is so proud to be called Grandpa by that little lad. His brother Terry, nephews Chad and Scott, Janice and Eric Foster, Uncle Ray Rowe, special Aunty Kay Fey, and many family members and friends share this loss.
Family and friends are invited to join Vaughn’s family to celebrate his life at the McEachnie Family Centre, 20 Church St. N., Ajax, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vaughn will be interred at a later date.

It is with deep sadness that we must say goodbye to Vesna, who died unexpectedly on Friday, May 5 th, 2023.
Vesna was born in North York, Ontario to Pavica "Paula" Graham. Vesna was a headstrong, fearless and feisty young woman. She had big dreams which were cut short before she could accomplish them.
She is survived by her parents Scott and Pavica "Paula" Graham, her brother Danijel, her grandparents Charlotte Draksler, Nora and Larry Graham.
She also leaves to mourn her Teta Marijana Raic (Michael) and their children, Auntie Kerry Graham-Dowbyhuz (Michael) and their children as well as Uncle Andrew Graham (Claudia) and their children.
Vesna can now rest in peace, as she joins her deceased grandfather,Martin Draksler, and great-grandparents Oonagh & amp, John Keegan.
Vesna was loved unconditionally by her family who will miss her greatly, especially her children Dominik (5) and Katarina (6 months).
Her memory and smile will live on through them.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 between 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave, Ajax. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 21 Bayly Street East, Ajax. Reception to follow in the church hall.

On Tuesday May 2nd, 2023, Vincenzo “Vince” Macri passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband for 25 years to Lisa and loving father to Jessica, Sarah, and Victoria.
Cherished son of Domenico and Maria Macri and little brother to Maria and Franco.
Vince will be lovingly remembered by his nephew, nieces, extended family, and many friends. Ever generous, Vince was a family-oriented and caring soul who always put others first. His intelligence, kindness, and endless empathy will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
The family would like to express their sincere thank yous to doctors, nurses, staff, family and friends for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Vic had a short, courageous fight against pancreatic cancer over the last couple months.
Beloved husband of 49 years to Kim Vinent. Much loved father to Michele (Bryan), Brian (Larissa) and Lauren (J.R.). A really fun grandpa to James, William, Oliver, Chloe, Taylor, Brendan, Leo and Maya.
Family was a priority to Vic. He loved helping the family with home and cottage projects as a skilled tradesman.
Vic also loved his dear friends whose friendships have spanned decades. Vic was born in England and immigrated to Canada at 16 years old with his family. Son of the late Kathleen and Victor Vinent Sr.
He is survived by his brother Tony and sister Laura and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will take place in the near future. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
