MANTZORIS, Christina - Loving mother and yiayia, passed away at the age of 81, on July 31, 2024, after a short yet valiant battle with an aggressive cancer.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jim Mantzoris of almost 63 years; and her loving children, Tina, John (wife, Patricia), Michael, and William (wife, Tracey); as well as her adored grandchildren, Jamie, Kristin, Kate, Mimi, James, and Gabrielle.
Her final hours were spent peacefully, at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by her family.
Christina was born in Kotylion, Greece, in 1943 and was the daughter of the late Michalis and Vasiliki (nee Kotsavra) Michelis. She immigrated to Canada in 1959 at the age of 16 and married her loving husband, Jim, in 1961 in London, Ontario.
Eventually, they settled down in Toronto, where they created a beautiful life together.
She was proud of her children for their educational pursuits and accomplishments. In addition, she adored and doted on her grandchildren. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them.
She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and to God, her authenticity, kindness, patience, and honesty. Thank you to the wonderful nursing and medical staff at Mt. Sinai. on floor 10S. for their compassion, care. and support. Christina will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., on Monday, August 5, 2024. from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 3125 Bayview Ave., Toronto, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow.

Pearl is survived by her three sons, their wives and six grandchildren; brother, Ken; sisters, Olga, Una and Joyce Scarlett.

Special grandfather of Bryce and Leia. Son of Frank and pre-deceased by his mother Joan O’Connell Inglis (Smith). Brother of John (Judi), Mark (Lovetta), Randy (Mary-Lou), Carol (pre-deceased Marty), Lynda (Mike), and Ken (Peggy).
Son in law of George and Mary Foster (deceased). Brother-in-law to Karen (Eric deceased), Cheryl (Jack), and Virginia (deceased). He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

With family close, Pat passed peacefully on August 1st at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on her terms.
Daughter of Edward Dubie and Cordelia Logan, Pat will be lovingly remembered by her son, William Edward Hockley (Pam) of North York, daughter, B Anne Jackson (Kevin) of Scarborough and grandchildren Karen (Scarborough) and Heather (North Vancouver).
She was preceded in death by her husbands William Joseph Hockley (d. 1988) and Harry Cleland (d. 2010).
Pat lived a full and fulfilled life.
Born in St Michael’s Hospital Toronto, she spent her early years in Cabbagetown. Following school at St. Joseph’s, Pat moved to Uxbridge where she met a dashing veteran recently home from Europe and they married in 1947.
Pat and Bill raised their family in West Hill and built their cottage and log cabin in the Halliburton Highlands 1967-1988.
Pat retired from General Motors’ Scarborough office in 1986 with 25 years of service. Pat and Harry, her charming Irishman, were married in 1991 and spent summers in Pickering and then New Hamberg. They travelled often, visiting many ports of call around the globe and enjoyed winters in Arizona.
As a single senior, Pat lived in the Court at Brooklyn, Harmony Hills, and Livita Pickering Retirement Residences.
In each of these many chapters of her life, Pat cultivated lifelong friendships. Her family and friends will always remember her positive outlook and easy laugh.
A private service will be held at Uxbridge Cemetery later this year.

Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, at the age of 63.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ann-Marie, his children, Andrew (Kendra) and Laura, his sister Janice, niece Christie, nephew Pat (Brittany) and great nephews Ryan, Mason and great niece Harper, brother-in-law Stephen Butler (Kathi).
Kevin will always be remembered for his love of travel, music and dancing like nobody’s watching.

WILSON, Susanne Elizabeth (nee RICHARDSON) - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Susanne Wilson, who died peacefully, at Amica Swan Lake in Markham on July 24, 2024.
Susanne was known for her curiosity, wit and kindness.
An avid reader, philanthropist and traveller; Susanne chose to think of life as an adventure and face each day with good cheer.
Her family was her greatest love and she made sure her friends and family knew they were cherished.
She was deeply loved by her husband of more than 50 years, the late John Wilson.
Her daughters, Sarah, Erin; and son-in-law, Rick will always remember Susanne's love, humour and her warnings to "beware of black ice", even in July.
Susanne cherished her beloved Richardson sisters, Nancy and Gwen; her in-laws, Bill Hall and Doug and Susan Wilson; and her adored nieces and nephews.

WESTCOTT, William Warren - Musician, Scholar, Composer, Teacher William W. Westcott of Toronto passed away peacefully, at Michael Garron Hospital on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at age 76.
Bill was born in Alton, Illinois and moved to Canada in the late 1970's to pursue academic and musical opportunities.
He enjoyed a long career as a musician, specializing in piano blues, ragtime, boogie boogie and classical performance.
As a member of York University's teaching faculty, he touched the lives of many of his students.
On a trip to Hawai'i, he fell under the spell of the ukulele and enjoyed attending and performing at ukulele jams around the GTA.
He is predeceased by his parents, Camilla and Laurence Westcott; and brother, Gerald. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Perkins; and cousin, Jane Graham.
A celebration of life will take place in the fall.
