It’s incredibly hard to say goodbye to a man who embraced life with such sweetness of spirit. We will miss his sense of play, his endless love and constant support.
Survived by his wife of 61 years Ruth (née Clark) of Owen Sound, sons Tom (Alex Pangman) of Toronto and Dan (Heather Mahony) of Victoria BC, and grandsons Ewan and Ben. Also, sister Patricia (Bob Clark), brother-in-law Murray Clark, and a great many nieces and nephews.Predeceased in 2022 by brothers Paul and Kenneth.

Predeceased by his parents, Andrew “Andy” and Minnie (nee Pruder); great-granddaughter, Tayja Mae; brothers, Herb (Winnifred), Gordon “Babe” (Marie), and Lorne “Bing” (Ioleen); and sister, Nora (Ron Fenner); brothers-in-law, Harvey Weir (Betty), Lorne Weir (Mary), Jack Weir (Clara), and Don Weir (Joyce); and sisters-in-law, Mildred (Jack McArthur, Janet (Roy Barnes), Hester (Tom Cunningham), and Edna (Allan Day). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Henry Gordon Styles, longtime resident of Durham, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Ada (nee Aljoe) who predeceased him four months ago and they are now together for their 68th wedding anniversary. Loving father of Randy Styles, Luanne and her husband Mike Hayes, Patricia Styles, Carolyn Styles, and Angela and her husband John Bryan. Proud Poppa of Candice, Leah (Greg), Brilyn (Andrew), Darcy (Kirby), Lindsay (Kyle), Evan (Tiffany), Troy, Jodi (Jamie), Jessica (Matt), Emily (Michael), Jacob, Matthew, and Matayia and proud Great Poppa of 14. Brother-in-law of Sharon Burgess, Beatrice and Harmut Ridderbusch, Helen Smith, and Betty Aljoe. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Pam Styles, his siblings Esther (the late Rino) Parisotto, Hazel (the late Robert) Mighton, Gladys (the late Fred) Shelton, his parents Harry Styles Sr. and Annie Mountain, and his stepmother Adie Muzzell.
Harry treated all who crossed his path with the same kindness no matter what their status in life. He was a warm, caring, fun-loving, loyal friend and a true gentleman.
Above all, he cared about his family more than life itself, he was so proud of them and loved each and every one beyond measure and they loved him, a true hero in their eyes.
He loved sports especially watching his family play, woodworking, hunting and fishing, enjoyed his many camping and fishing trips to Algonquin over the years.
Harry was a longtime resident of Durham, a hard worker often taking on a second job to support his family. He was a 35-year employee of Durham Furniture.
He still managed to find time to volunteer on various committees over the decades including; Durham Town Council for 13 years, Arena board, Cemetery board, building committee for Rockwood Care Centre, Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority to name a few.
His passing leaves a huge hole in our lives and he will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service celebrating Harry’s life will be held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Friday, April 26th at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 1:45 p.m. Spring interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Harvey passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in his 90th year with his family by his side. Born in Clarksburg on Dec 2, 1934., a son of the late William and Hazel (nee Haines) Dinsmore.
Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Londry) for 63 years.
Harvey was the much-loved father of Dale (Gayle), Todd, Colin (Sharon) and Kelly (Dustin) Soulliere. Loving Grandpa to Curtis (Kelly), Jordan, Ayla (Sean), Jessie, Charlie, Claire, Olivia, Cole, Nolan and Gavin. Great Grandpa to Stella, Juniper and Nash. He will be missed by his brothers Murray (Donna) and Elwood (late Joan).
Predeceased by sisters Audrey (Wallace) McDougall, Jessie (Maurice) Dawn, and step sisters Jean and Helen.
Harvey grew up on a farm on the Clarksburg sideroad, along with his 4 siblings. He attended school at the Clarksburg Public School. As the eldest son, following public school, Harvey moved on to help is father fulltime on the family farm. During his younger years he was also a part of the young people’s group at the Free Methodist Church and played the trombone in the band with his sisters and brothers.
In 1961, Harvey and Patricia were married and started their life together on a farm on the town line in Thornbury overlooking Georgian Bay. Harvey was a hard-working mixed farmer, and also spent time surveying land around this area and north eastern Ontario.
In 1994, Harvey and Patricia moved to Beaver Valley and built a new home after their son took over the family farm. Here, Harvey raised sheep and chickens which prompted many spontaneous visits from local neighbours. Harvey enjoyed fixing and collecting clocks and participating as a member of the Maple Leaf Rifle Club. He also enjoyed listening to the bagpipes and attending the Fergus Highland Games. Although Harvey loved spending time at home, he and Patricia had opportunities to take some memorable trips together across Canada to both the east and west coasts, as well as Scotland and Ireland.
Harvey will be dearly missed by his family, friends and neighbours.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Blue Mountains Community Church on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11 o’clock. Harvey’s family will receive friends for visiting the hour prior to service. A service of committal and interment will take place at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery.

Hilmar Kiesekamp, an Educator who worked for the Northumberland - Clarington Board of Education for 30 years; age 84, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday May 27th, 2024.
He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of Elza, loving father of Esther and Liza.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Justin and Benjamin and his great grandchildren Evan, Nolan, Conor and Aleida.
Beloved brother to his twin brother Burkhard and other siblings Vera, Engel, Wilhelm and Edelgard. Hilmar enjoyed listening to classical music, photography and documenting all our special family moments.
He was an avid golfer who enjoyed being out on the course with his daughter Liza, grandsons Justin and Ben and his friends.

Passed away peacefully in her 65th year holding the hand of Ed, her loving husband of 43 years.
Heather is the daughter of the late Bill and Eileen Flatley.
Heather was adored by her two daughters, Alanna (Tim) and Holly (Gerritt). A devoted sister to Charles Flatley (Kim) and fondly thought of by her sister-in-law and brother-in law, Patti and Rod Cooper (as well as the late Marie and Doug Corcoran) and many nieces and nephews.
Heather was all about family, this was her primary focus in life. She was also well known in both Norwood and Ajax for multiple daily dog walks, rain or shine. She met many wonderful people this way. Heather was a loyal fan of the Leafs, Argos and Jays and would watch their games to the end, no matter what the score was. Special thanks to Dr. Kelly Parks, Father David West and Katie Miller.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 30th at the DeStefano Funeral Home, Oshawa from 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Norwood at Noon on Saturday, June 1st.

It is with deep sadness we share the news that Hugh Harold Searle passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital on May 13th, 2024 at 82 years of age from emphysema and lung cancer.
He was born on August 29th, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario where he lived his entire life.
He was hard working and resourceful. He worked up until 2022 driving “his kids” to school.
He is survived by his brother Bruce (Sally), his daughters Jannette (Mike), Deanne (Dewey), Amber (Brian), Chandra (Art), Karrie-Lynn (James) and Sharina, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, niece and nephews. He will also be missed by his extended family the Nakamichi’s, and many lifelong friends.
Hugh did not want any formal service of mourning but the family would like to ask any donations made in his memory go to the Canadian Lung Association.

Helen Rowlands (nee Loranger) of Port Perry, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12, 2024.
She leaves behind her husband Michael of 52 years, daughter Jessica (Chris) Hermiz, grandchildren Molly and Jackson, her beloved brother Paul (Pattie) Loranger, and their son Jason, and special friends Bernice Morrison and Karen Leduc.
Predeceased by her sister Susan Hendricks. Helen leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Helen was born and raised in Shawinigan Quebec, moving to Toronto/GTA in her late teens.
She married Michael in 1972, and they later moved to Markham where they raised their daughter Jessica.
Once retired, she settled in Port Perry with her husband.
Helen had a big passion for gardening, birds and travel. She delighted in spending summers with her grandchildren in Wasaga beach.
