Peacefully passed away with his son Ken Jr., at his side on April 3, 2024 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Ken at the age of 69, was the father of Kenneth Grant Jr. and Jennifer Handsor; and the grandfather of Kendra, Jolon, Dane and Aliyah.

Ken is survived by his siblings Susan (Cal) Dimock, James (Sandra) Grant and Dianne (Adrian) Cannon. Ken was predeceased by his parents Dorine and Douglas Grant. He will be remembered always by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Private Interment will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, Whitby.

Ken would appreciate if you would raise a glass to him, in honour of your memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Ken would be appreciated.

Roffey, a vibrant soul whose light illuminated the lives of all who knew him, left us on March 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and boundless charisma.

Kevin's infectious energy and outgoing nature were evident in everything he did. His vibrant personality and genuine warmth drew people to him, creating lasting connections and cherished memories.

Kevin's zest for life was genuinely infectious, whether it was his love for baseball, his rides on his motorcycle, or simply spending time with his beloved dog, Piglet.

Kevin's presence brought joy and positivity wherever he went. He had a remarkable gift for finding humour in every situation, using his playful spirit to uplift those around him. His genuine kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Kevin was not only a loving son to Al and Sharon, brother to Kristy and Ryan, and spouse to Patricia, but also a cherished grandson and a fun-loving, actively involved uncle.

He adored his nieces and nephews, always ready to engage in playful activities, share stories, and create unforgettable memories with them. His role as an uncle brought him immense joy, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Though Kevin may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to live boldly, love fiercely, and cherish each precious moment.

Kevin's life will be celebrated on April 7, 2024, at DeStefano Funeral, Oshawa, at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 6 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.

Though he is gone, his memory will forever remain vibrant, and never to be forgotten.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Willems on March 24, 2024.

She was born November 8, 1931 and was predeceased by her husband Ewald Willems, her parents Carlton Fiedtkou and Caroline Christian, her brother Cecil Fiedtkou, and her granddaughter Crystal Morgan.

Kathleen was the loving and proud mother to Verda Hazel Ramsahoi, Pamela Simmons, Vanessa Maria Morgan Jones, Anthony Willems, and Dale Willems. Adoring grandmother of 14 and cherished great-grandmother of 17.

Kathleen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering Village, on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.

During the service her family will proudly fulfill their duties as follows: Honorary Paul bearers Stephen and Harrison Simmons, followed by paul bearers Vickanand and Joseph Ramsahoi, Dennis, Matthew, and Scott Morgan, and Ricardo and Mario Willems.

Special commemoration will be presented by Stacie Simmons, Melissa Petrini, Kristine Occhipinti, and Donald Willems. Closing remarks will be shared by Vanessa Maria Morgan Jone.

Kay Mawhinney, (née Labrecque), born March 16th, 1939 in Gaspé, Québec to Gordon and Emelia Labrecque, passed away peacefully on March 14th, in Oshawa, Ontario, at the age of 84.

Devoted mother of Randy, Pat (Bev), and Darren (Julie).

Proud grandmother of Sam (Dean), Alex, Austin, Noah, Holden, and McKayla, and great grandmother of Emmy and Mark.

A cherished sister, Kay was preceded in death by Arnold, Geraldine, Reynold, Jacqueline, Luke and Adaline.

She is survived by brothers Blair and John (Janet).

Loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends from the Sudbury area, and her friends at the Carriage House in Oshawa.

Kay was outgoing and full of laughter; she was always ready for a walk around the neighbourhood with a friend, a chat over a cup of tea or a shared meal with family.

She will be deeply missed. There will be no services.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 13th, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 79.

Keith was a teacher, Pastor, auctioneer and mentor to many.

Predeceased by his parents Irene (1997) and Sydney (1963) Pike.

He taught at Midland Ave Tech for nearly 30 years, was a Pastor at Cedardale United Church from 1977 – 2022 and an auctioneer for many years.

Keith will be sadly missed by family; cousins Betty Grandy (late Bill), the late Pearl Cooper (late Frank) and his niece Karen Fawcett.

Passed away suddenly at home. Kristina Gojamanis is survived by her loving husband, Steve Gojamanis and loving children, Michael (Shannon), Jesse (Yvonne) and Jamie.

Her adored grandchildren, Amara and Jace. Daughter to late parents Felicia and Petar Petric and treasured daughter in law to Christine and Mike Gojamanis.

Kristina will also be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters, brother in laws and sister in laws.

Her beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and to so many in her extended family.

Kristina was happiest when surrounded by her amazing family that she loved so much. To be loved by her was a gift. Caring, kind, generous and loving is an understatement when trying to describe all that she was.

She was always there for anyone who needed her. Whether for a simple chat or a heartfelt talk. You could always count on Kristina to help with whatever was needed. She had a hug that would make everything better. When she hugged you, you felt it. She was a soft yet firm woman. The perfect mix when raising 3 boys. There’s no questioning just how missed she will be by everyone who had the honour of knowing Kristina.
