BIELASKA, Adele Bielaska  -
January 23, 1931 - July 25, 2024

Adele was born during the depression to Ludwig and Apolonia Pikul. She had an older sister, Sophie (Dabor); and a younger brother, Norman (deceased).

She was part of a large East European enclave. Their sense of community, work ethic, and helping each other carried on throughout their lives. (Adele did volunteer work for over 60 years.)

They also knew how to enjoy themselves and Adele was a firecracker at social events.

Adele married the man that truly loved her.

Adele and Wally raised three children, Wyn, Ron (Alice), and Jody. She was the housewife that kept the family on schedule and always had supper at 5:30. The years passed, the children moved on, and Adele took care of her in-laws, parents, and grandchildren, Jeremy, Jalina, and Benji. Walter passed away in 2007 and Adele was left to carry on. She found new adventures and friends.

But eventually her body tired and she gradually lost her energy and drive. Except for the last few days she lived in her home and died peacefully of old age.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON, M6S 1P4, on Tuesday August 6th, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, consider offering a caring hand to others.
