Predeceased by his beloved wife Diane (nee Ouellette). Loving father of Craig (Shannon) and Nick (Lee-Anne). Step father of Mike, John, Brian, and Jamie.

Cherished grandfather of Carter, Jaxson, Payton and Tyler.

Dear son of Yulisse Pestano and the late Compton.

Survived by his brother Terry (Nimet). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West on Thursday June 20, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 21, 2024 at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.

Age 81, entered into eternal life on June 13th, 2024 peacefully in her home.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Christina (McNeil) Burrows.

she was generous with her love and friendships and would give a person the shirt off her back. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a special person and will live on in our hearts.

She will be greatly missed by her children Sherrie, Diane (Laurie), Jeannie (Gerald), and Hughie (Robyn); her grandchildren Justin, Brandon (Kaitlin), Gregory, Cameron, Samantha, Bryden, Payton and Rory; her siblings Sr. Martha Eileen, Tina (Oran) Mosher, Kay (Joe) Mauti, Martha (Danny) Matheson.

Besides her parents, Carol was pre-deceased by her husband Hugh; and her daughter Patricia, her sisters Eileen, Therese, Agnes, Cheryl and her brothers Murray, her twin Bert and Gerard.

A Celebration of Life will take place on July 6th, 2024 at St. Joseph's Church in Bowmanville at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. Mom will be laid to rest with her husband Hugh at Holy Cross cemetery in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Her final road trip with us to her beloved Cape will take place next summer with her family.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Bowmanville hospital and her community caregivers, especially Bibi, who held a special place in Mom's heart.

Peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Collingwood Nursing Home at the age of 90. Clarence of Nottawa, was the loving and caring husband of Marjorie (nee Fenwick) for over 69 years.

Cherished father of Keith Young (Rosemarie) and the late Denise Young (2015). Treasured grandfather of Jennifer Hanley (Aaron), Danny Young (Erin) and great grandfather of Jade, Jordan and Summer. Clarence will be remembered by his three brothers. Predeceased by his parents Wesley & Nellie (nee Sewell) and one brother.

Clarence worked as welder at the Collingwood Shipyards, operated a bulldozer during his years working in the construction industry and final 15 years driving bus. He taught Sunday School and served as a superintendent for Nottawa United Church. Clarence loved the outdoors especially camping, hunting which he had a good eye for target shooting and those lazy summer days spent in his hammock. Clarence was a family man and enjoying time well spent with family and friends.

The family will receive friends at New Life Church, 28 Tracey Lane, Collingwood on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at New Life Church on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00p.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, with a reception to follow. Remembrances of Clarence may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, Mount Pleasant Missionary Church or a charity of choice.
