Entered into rest peacefully with her daughter, Elaine, by her side on Monday, June 8th, 2020 at Caressant Care in Lindsay, at age 92. Orma Lillico (nee Lamb), beloved wife to the late Russell Lillico for 62 years. Devoted mother of Susan and Elaine. Dearly loved grandma of Anne Lewis (Paul Kearney) and James Lewis and loving great-grandma “GiGi” of August Kearney.Predeceased by her five sisters; Edna, Margaret, Iva, Frances and Joy and one brother, Orland. Orma was born on January 28, 1928, the youngest child to Horace and Edith Lamb. Orma and Russell married September 11, 1948. Shortly after their marriage they built their home on Cameron Street, a home in which they welcomed and raised their two daughters. They were very active members of the Cannington community in various volunteer roles. In compliance with public health and safety private arrangements have been been made at this time. Survived by grandchildren, Rebecca (Eugene), Heather (Steve), Derek, Gary, Deanna (Dwayne), Michael, Shawn, Gregory (Destiny), Nicholas, Todd (Nick) and several Great Grandchildren.He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, a grandniece, a grandnephew, extended family and friends.He will also be sadly missed by Wayne's dog Lucky.Orval was a founding member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #43 in Oshawa. He was also a member of the Loyal Orange Order and played the flute in the Orange Band in Tyrone, Ontario.Orval was a member of the Senior Citizens in Oshawa and enjoyed their meals and loved his white fish at Captain Georges. Olive Barbara (nee Wright) - Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa, on Friday, November 1, 2019 in her 93rd year.Olive was born in London (Battersea), England.She served in the Land Army during the war where she met her now late husband (Joe/Sonny).She came to Canada after the war, married and resided in Ajax, Ontario, until her move to a retirement home and then to Hillsdale nursing home.Olive is remembered by her children, Malcolm, Jennifer and Janet; her much loved "hooligans", Sarah, David, Eric, Matthew, Jonathon and Richard; and her great-grandchildren, Owen, Harper, Huxley, and Colin.There will be no service or visitation.However, a celebration of life for the extended family will be arranged at a future date.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
