Owner of Precise Drywall & Insulation –Peacefully at his home with his family by his side after a brief fight with cancer on Friday, June 19, 2020, at the age of 73. Otto, beloved husband of Elize.Much loved father of John (Stacey), Jamie (Vicki), Jeff (Doris), Dan (Lianne) and Catherine (Beth).Proud Opa of Krista (Matthew), Kyle (Megan), Samantha, Morgan, Jessica, Emily, Matt, Devon, Zachary, Cassidy, and great Opa of Noah and Peyton.Cherished Godfather of Elize. Brother of Bruno. Dear brother in law of Chris (Adri). Otto will be deeply missed and remembered with love by all who knew him.Otto loved to travel and explore the world with his love Elize. Family to Otto was so important and always came first. He was a true mentor who shared his vision, strong ethics and convection with relentless generosity to so many people that he crossed paths with over the years. Orma Joan Lillico
Entered into rest peacefully with her daughter, Elaine, by her side on Monday, June 8th, 2020 at Caressant Care in Lindsay, at age 92. Orma Lillico (nee Lamb), beloved wife to the late Russell Lillico for 62 years. Devoted mother of Susan and Elaine. Dearly loved grandma of Anne Lewis (Paul Kearney) and James Lewis and loving great-grandma “GiGi” of August Kearney.Predeceased by her five sisters; Edna, Margaret, Iva, Frances and Joy and one brother, Orland. Orma was born on January 28, 1928, the youngest child to Horace and Edith Lamb. Orma and Russell married September 11, 1948. Shortly after their marriage they built their home on Cameron Street, a home in which they welcomed and raised their two daughters. They were very active members of the Cannington community in various volunteer roles. In compliance with public health and safety private arrangements have been been made at this time. A gathering to honour Orma’s life will be held once provincial restrictions lift.As a remembrance, please contribute to your community with a charitable donation or with an act of kindness.

(February 1st, 1927 – April 17th, 2020)It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad Oreste Mizzi at Hillsdale Estate at the age of 93. Loving husband to the late Emmanuela Mizzi for over 66 years.Loving father of Connie and her husband Alfred, Predeceased by his son Ted and his wife Tessie, Doris and her husband John, Mario and his wife Doris. Cherished Nannu to the late Mary Ann (Thomas), Esther (Joel), Steven (Lisa), Jason (Laura). Patricia (Michael), Ted (Rodianne), Christopher (Marianna), Melissa (Mark), Richard (Monica), Mark (Christine) and adoring great-grandfather of 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Francis Mizzi and Lorenza Saliba. Beloved brother to his siblings in Malta. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their extended families. The family would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Estates for their support and care giving, it was truly appreciated. Survived by his siblings Patsy Varga and Maureen James. Predeceased by siblings Gillian and Mary. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner of 14 years, Georgeta. Orville had a life well lived and will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Orval Henry Ellis was the husband of Unice Madeline Conner in his 99th year. Predeceased by his parents James and Lillie (nee Woodcock) (McFarland) Ellis.Predeceased by his brothers Clarence Norman Ellis (Dorothy), Ezra Erven Ellis and predeceased by his sister Anorma Arena Ellis (Bill).Survived by his brother Walter Nathan Ellis (Yvonne). He is survived by dear sons Wayne Ellis, Ken Ellis (deceased wife Joyce) of Lindsay. Survived by his daughters Shirley Hellemond (Albert) and Lynda Russell (George) of Oakville. Survived by grandchildren, Rebecca (Eugene), Heather (Steve), Derek, Gary, Deanna (Dwayne), Michael, Shawn, Gregory (Destiny), Nicholas, Todd (Nick) and several Great Grandchildren.He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, a grandniece, a grandnephew, extended family and friends.He will also be sadly missed by Wayne's dog Lucky.Orval was a founding member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #43 in Oshawa. He was also a member of the Loyal Orange Order and played the flute in the Orange Band in Tyrone, Ontario.Orval was a member of the Senior Citizens in Oshawa and enjoyed their meals and loved his white fish at Captain Georges. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Hampton, Ontario.The family would like to thank the Staff at Souls, Medigas, LHIN, Community Care Durham, VHA, nurses and doctors for their excellent care and support, Veterans, Legion, and a thank you to Pastor Horton and the musicians of (Community Baptist Church). Olive Barbara (nee Wright) - Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa, on Friday, November 1, 2019 in her 93rd year.Olive was born in London (Battersea), England.She served in the Land Army during the war where she met her now late husband (Joe/Sonny).She came to Canada after the war, married and resided in Ajax, Ontario, until her move to a retirement home and then to Hillsdale nursing home.Olive is remembered by her children, Malcolm, Jennifer and Janet; her much loved "hooligans", Sarah, David, Eric, Matthew, Jonathon and Richard; and her great-grandchildren, Owen, Harper, Huxley, and Colin.There will be no service or visitation.However, a celebration of life for the extended family will be arranged at a future date.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
