Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Ron was in his 85th year.
Beloved husband for 30 years of Eleanor (Cook). Loving and devoted father of Steve (Sue-Ellen), Bryan (Carolyn) and Keri (John). Stepdad to Deborah (Tom), Darlene (John), Scott (Joan) and Mark (Libby). Cherished and proud Grampa Blue Shirt to Natalie (Chris), Stephanie (Ryan), Nicole (Jamie), Erica (Alex), Jesse, Kortnee (Jennifer) and Kylie (predeceased). Great grandfather to Hunter, Illa, Finn and Violet.
Predeceased by his mother Bertha, father Richard, brothers Jim and Phil and sister Norma.
Ron worked at R.B.W. for 38 years.
In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Chapman House would be appreciated by the family.
Bob Wiley passed away peacefully at Meaford Long Term Care Centre ‘PeopleCare’ on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 in his 66th year.
Born in Markdale on August 23, 1958, Bob was the son of the late Ross and Edythe (nee Murray) Wiley.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Sharon, Sylvia, Cynthia (Scott) and Heather (Mark). Bob is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Kristina, Alysha (Marcus), Andrew, Emily (Dustin), Ian, David (Carissa), Sarah (Andrew), Mitchell (Laura), Nathan (Riali), Madeleine, Alexander (Shannon) and Megan (Bryce), and 10 great nieces and nephews. He is survived by his Aunt Rose Wiley.
A special thank you to Jodi, friends and staff at South East Grey Support Services, Dr. Recoskie, Melody Boyd NP, staff on Orchard View at Meaford Long Term Care Centre and the staff at Brightshores Meaford Hospital Emergency and Medical Floor for their exceptional care.
Bob loved his family farm. He enjoyed fishing, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, Varney Speedway, the Keady Market, the International Plowing Match, fish fries at the Rocklyn Community Centre, and the many memories from the farm sales he has attended. He always looked forward to his Wednesday evenings out to the pool or bowling with Jodi. Bob remembered everyone he ever met, and considered everyone a friend.
A service will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 12 noon. Family will receive friends for visiting the hour prior to service. A private family service of committal and interment will take place at Markdale Cemetery.

Passed away on June 8, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 87.
He lived his life with a positive attitude and optimistic outlook.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn (nee Basser), and was the proud father of Eric (Bruce) and Yvonne (Steve).
He was the beloved grandfather of Matthew and Sarah.
He also leaves behind his sister, Marilyn Goulter (Steve), and nephews Greg and Jeff.
Born in Toronto in 1937 to Ralph Longbotham Sr and Gertrude Hubert. He met the love of his life at a dance in 1963, and married Marilyn Basser at St. Boniface church in Scarborough in 1964. They settled in Scarborough and later in Pickering to raise their two children.
Ralph worked for 41 years with North York Hydro, before retiring and enjoying time with friends and family.
Ralph loved photography, was an avid reader, and was a big fan of science fiction.
He had many interests including politics, astronomy, as well as enjoying a good car race on TV.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and every person who had the pleasure of meeting him.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Weller on May 30, 2024, at the age of 89.
Robert was the beloved brother of Adele, Dorothy (deceased), and Eileen.
He was the proud father of Karen and Barbara, the doting grandfather of Rachael and Marissa, and the adoring great-grandfather of Audrey.
His family was the cornerstone of his life, and his thoughtful guidance will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration for them.
Robert's legacy of love, humour, and perseverance lives on in the hearts of those he left behind. Born on August 4, 1934, Robert spent his early years in Toronto and proudly served in the Canadian military as a Corporal with the 27 Canadian Infantry Brigade Group at the age of 18.
Following his military service, Robert began working as an insurance underwriter and later developed a successful career in corporate pension investments. Robert was highly respected in his field for his integrity, expertise, and unwavering commitment to his clients. During his later years, Robert developed a lifelong love for golf.
He was an esteemed member of both the Scarboro Golf & Country Club and Fiddlesticks Country Club. His skill and enthusiasm on the green were matched only by his camaraderie with fellow golfers, many of whom became lifelong friends.
His presence at the courses will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A man of diverse interests, Robert also had a deep affection for animals, particularly cats. His home was always graced by the presence of a feline companion, each one a testament to his love and compassion for his animals.
Robert Weller's life was a remarkable journey marked by love, laughter, and a strong will and zest for life.
He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his sporting spirit, his professional achievements, and his generous heart. He had a signature way of ending conversations, always reminding those he spoke with to "Keep smiling".
May he rest in peace, his memory forever living on in our hearts. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and bid him a heartfelt farewell.

Mum passed away on Saturday June 1st 2024 at the age of 90.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Garnet (2017).

Cherished Grandmother of Grace, Samantha (Bobby), Amanda (Jarrett), Garnet and James. Great Grandmother of Alexis, Avery, Asher, and Zander.
Ruth will be remembered as a loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.
Ruth was born in King City one of seven daughters of Mervyn and Lucy Wilson. She met her best friend and husband Garnet White in 1950 at a dance at Musselman’s Lake, which culminated in a life long and loving marriage of 62 years. Ruth worked for the City of Ajax for many years and volunteered in the community.
She was an avid bridge player, gardener, and reader, and a cutthroat scrabble player. She was happiest at the cottage with her family and especially cherished time with her grandchildren. A lover of Jeopardy, salt, and weak tea, she will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. on Thursday June 6th from 1:00 til 3:00 pm. Remembrances will be shared at 2:30 pm.
A Private family interment will follow.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her extended family. Dick and Marie enjoyed many great years on their family farm in Utica. Along with hard work and dedication to the farm and family, they lived a full life.
They raised their four boys, and enjoyed making memories with them and their beloved grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Port Perry on Thursday, May 30th from 7:00-9:00pm, and on Friday, May 31st from 10:00-11:00am. A service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00am.
