It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Rochelle Lamash on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in her home.

Rochelle was born in Ajax to Joseph and Alma Hickey (deceased).

Beloved wife of the late Bernie Lamash ( 2010). Loving mother of Joel ( Cathy ), Erin ( Chris ), Tara( Scott), and Ryan ( Katherine ) . Her 9 grandchildren: Darius, Lukas, Zoe, Spencer, Madalyn, Ella, Bree, Bailey and Joseph.

Family was a central part of Rochelle’s life.

She was happiest when the whole family was together.

She was famous for the advice she would give and will be missed deeply by her family. Rochelle was also a passionate educator with the Durham District Catholic School Board for over 30 years and cared deeply about educating the next generation.

Everyone who knew Rochelle knew that she was someone who liked to bring joy to others.

She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. Arrangements with Mount Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
