Passed away suddenly after suffering a heart attack.Fortunate to receive a lifesaving heart transplant 11 years ago and struck by cancer and other numerous medical conditions, he soldiered on through adversity with a big hug, inspiring story and a smile for everyone who happened across his path.Tim was one of 5 children born to the late Bill and Eileen Rheeder (nee Baddeley) on July 25, 1957.Tim was the beloved husband of Nerina Field, father to daughter Kirsten Mizzi and son Andrew Rheeder.Tim will be forever remembered by his devoted siblings and their families; brother John Rheeder, uncle to Sean Rheeder, children Brett, Christopher and Brian and uncle to Kelly Rheeder, wife Shayne and children Sarah and Daniel, sister Elaine Fraser (nee Rheeder) and brother-in-law Norm Fraser, brother Dave Rheeder and brother Mike Rheeder.Tim touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity and maintained his trademark sense of humour all the way to the end.Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME - Pickering Village, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax.Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2016, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.A funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.The family requests all donations in lieu of flowers be sent to the Trillium Gift of Life Network, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
