Passed away peacefully in Port Perry on March 9, 2024.
His dearest wife Connie Archer (nee Brown) predeceased him February 7, 2008.
He was a beloved father to Lorrie Archer, Scott Archer, Tammy Nottingham (nee Archer) and chosen daughter Christine Wildman.
He was a loved grandfather to Cory Nottingham, Ryan Archer, Katie Archer, Jennifer Cockburn (Archer), Curtis Wildman, Colin and Candace Hyde (nee Sheppard).
Hilmore was born in Coboconk, Ontario on December 11, 1933-son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Atkin Archer.
He was the brother of the late Charlie, Bob, Ruth and Lillian.
He will be missed by Cleaburn and sister-in-law Karen, and by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Port Perry on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. A Service to celebrate Hilmore’s life will be held in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will take place in Lindsay.

Our beloved mother passed away from a short illness at the age of 75 on March 6, 2024 in Oshawa.
She was a very dedicated and loving mother to George and Katerina.
She was also loved by her sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, friends and God children.
She had a beautiful heart and was willing to help those in need.
She also loved to garden and would share her delicious meals and baked goods with others.
Helen will be deeply missed by all those she knew and encountered.
Funeral Service will be held at the Hellenic Orthodox Church , 399 Farewell Street, Oshawa on Wednesday March 13 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation 1 hour prior at the church.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hendrikus (Hank) Gerardus Bouwmeister on February 23rd, 2024 at the age of 92, after a short but brave battle with cancer.
He passed away peacefully with his loving wife of 63 years at his side.
Hank Bouwmeister was born in Vorden, The Netherlands on July 7, 1931 to Maria and Gerard Bouwmeister. Nelly Bouwmeister (nee Pennings) was a devoted wife to Hank Bouwmeister, also born and raised in The Netherlands, and would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this October.
He was a caring father to Ron (Andrea), Martin (Michelle), Sharon (Liberal) and grandfather to Natasha (Mike), Jessica, Brandon (Rhiannon), Kelsey (Gavin), Christine, Danielle, Justin, and great grandfather to Alexander, Chase and Reid.
He also leaves his siblings Grace, Gerard, Mary, John and Bill and joins Bernie, Anne, and Theo. All with a very close bond over many years that was instilled amongst his many nieces and nephews and extended family.
He leaves as well his lifelong friend of over 80 years, Joe Huinink, and joins his many friends and family to enjoy a game of horseshoes and get-togethers.
Hank came to Canada in 1957 from The Netherlands, joined by his family to start a new life. He shortly met his bride Nelly and were married in 1960 soon after settling in Pickering, where they remained in the same home over the years.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Pickering Village on Thursday February 29th 2024 from 4pm to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, March 1st at 11 am at Holy Redeemer Church, 789 Eyer Drive, Pickering.

After a short battle with cancer, Howard passed away on February 18, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in 79th year.

Howard will be remembered as a wonderful person and the love of Betty’s life.
He was a man of many hobbies who was always there to lend a hand and particularly enjoyed writing poems that his family will cherish.

Our beloved Dawn Craig, wife, mother, nanny, and friend suddenly passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 74.
She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Family was her whole life and she loved each of them completely.
She was the best wife, mother, nanny, sister, and friend God ever blessed us with. She was also a well-loved member of Westminster United Church.
Dawn was born to Raymond and Harriett Vertigans on December 14, 1949 in Belfast Northern Ireland. She was the youngest of seven children.
Dawn was happily married to Edward Craig who was her partner in life for almost 56 years at the time of her death. Dawn is survived by her husband, three children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly and always be loved “lots and lots and then some”.
Visitation will be held at Westminster United Church at 1850 Rossland Rd E., Whitby ON, on Friday February 23rd from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. Reception following the service.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Herbert Lockie Wood at the age of 88.
He was born October 6, 1935, in Edinburgh Scotland moving to Toronto, Ontario at the age of 12 and in the Durham Region for the last 20 years.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Barbara and his beautiful daughter Sharon.
Survived by and will be truly missed by his sons Ian and Sean (Fiona) and his five grandchildren, Meaghan, Jason (Shara), Heather (Cory), Kristine (Jeremy), Kayleigh and several great grandchildren, his brother Colin and James (Jimmy) and his cousin Derrick (Darlene).
Herb will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in their wonderful care the last few months. Herbert lived life to the fullest and as a true Scottish Warrior fought very hard to stay here to be with his family as long as he could. His absence will leave a tremendous void in our lives.
We take comfort in knowing that he is up there beautifully singing Loch Lomond to anyone who will listen!
At his request, Herb has been cremated. A private Family Service will be held at later date.
