Nancy passed away at home on Friday, April 14th, 2023 surrounded by her family after a short, but valiant fight against cancer.
She was 65 years old. Nancy was born on December 9th, 1957 to Merritt and Mae Coalter in Willowdale, Ontario.
Here she would go on to meet her beloved husband of 45 years, Pat. She was a doting mother, wife, and friend to all who knew her. Nancy and Pat have two daughters, Brittany (Matt) and Samantha (Andrew).
Proud grandmother of Emerson, Madeleine, and Carter. Sister of Carolyn Ratcliff (Bud) and Gary Coalter (Judy). Sister-in-law of Debby, Susinn, Cathy, Ann, Peter, and Charlene.
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Nancy’s battle was fought with great courage, and a smile. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Odette Cancer Centre at the Sunnybrook Hospital.
The Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held on June 18, 2023 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Oakview Terrace Reception Centre, 13256 Leslie St, Richmond Hill, ON.

Much loved husband of Jessica for 52 years.
Adoring dad of Barbara (Eric) Sparkes and cherished Opa of Colton.
Loving brother of Toni (Mike) Shore, Cory Arts and Peter (Peggy) Arts. Nick was predeceased by his parents Petrus & Catharina Arts and sister Heather Arts-McCabe.
He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Nick retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of service, retiring as the Production Manager.
He was a longtime member and former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 6361.
He was a wonderful volunteer and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Wednesday March 29th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, on Thursday March 30th at 11 am.

Norma was born in Colborne, Ontario and raised in the Brighton area.
She devoted many years as Office Manager to the Trent Valley Sand and Gravel, in both the Brighton and Scarborough offices. After retirement, she never slowed down; enjoying life to the fullest.
Norma continued with her many passions of life at the pool in her own backyard, entertaining their many family and friends, travelling (cruise ships) and assisting her loving husband in the care of their award winning gardens.
At Norma’s request, there will be only a private family interment at the St. George’s Cemetery in Trenton, Ontario at a future date.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Norma on March 8, 2023 at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.
Norma was the beloved wife to Jim. Loving mother to James (Kasey) and Lawrence (Niki).

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023 we lost our much-loved Mom and Nanny, Norma.
We are grateful that she is now with her Saviour and reunited with her beloved husband John (J.B.) Olver (2013).
Norma was a fun and loving mother to Patricia Aitchison (Mark), John (Soula), and Andrea Slater (Gary). A loving Nanny to her grandchildren Andrew (Preston), James, Stephen (Bridget), Sasha, Michael, Leah, and Matthew, and Great-grandmother to Presley.
Norma was born in Brantford, Ontario on February 12, 1935, the daughter of Norman and Audrey Weaver and was one of 7 brothers and sisters.
She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed singing with numerous church choirs, particularly First Baptist Church in Guelph, throughout her life.
Norma will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour and generosity by many friends in Guelph, Oshawa and on the shores of Lake Huron where she and JB spent their retirement years.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10 am followed by a celebration of Norma’s life 11 am at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787 (South of Taunton Road, enter through gates off Dryden Blvd.) Interment and reception to follow.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Bill in 2011.

Long time resident of Uxbridge from 1956 till 2005 when they moved to Port Perry. Mom worked in banking from the age of 15 until she retired at 66 to care for grandchildren. She was always involved in many things, and loved to help others. She dearly loved animals and had many kitties over the years.
