It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Tessie Senyk passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Tessie was a doting and devoted mother to Nina (Kevin), Bill (Dawn), Babusya (baba) to 3 beautiful granddaughters, Lexy, Lauren, Tayissa and lovingly remembered by those that called her “tyotya”.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Peter and brother George.

Survived by her sister Olga.

Tessie was a dedicated member of the Sisterhood of St John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East Oshawa on Sunday November 19, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm. Panachyda Sunday at 7 pm. A funeral service will take place at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Monday November 20, 2023 at 10:30 am.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday November 9, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Terry died at the age of 58.

Terry leaves behind her husband Joe Stirling, her children Melanie Reimer, Dlorah Reimer, Terri Reimer, Matthew Stirling (Frankie) and Tyler Stirling (Julie).

Adored Granny of Ciara, Calianna & Kaeden. Dear Sister of Wayne Mason (Susie).

Terry is predeceased by her daughter Stephanie Reimer, her parents harles & Doreen and her brother Chuck.

Terry will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by many family and friends.

Terry survived many difficult times in her life but, with Joe by her side, she went on to enjoy her time travelling, being on the lake, and seeing what new adventures life had to offer.

Terry cherished her family and enjoyed spending every opportunity with them.

Please join with the family to Celebrate Terry’s Life at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday November 19th for a Memorial Service at 3pm. Visitation will be held from 2pm - 3pm prior to the service.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear mother, Tatiana Antonowytsch who passed away peacefully, on Friday November 10, 2023 at Traditions Retirement home.

She was 96 years old.

Loving mother of Lesia (Jeff), Kathrene (Erik), and Lidia (John).

Tatiana raised her children with love and devotion with her late husband, Wolodymyr Antonowytsch. Cherished babusia of Natalie, Christopher, Kristin, Malcolm, and Gavin, all of whom brought her so much pride and joy. Predeceased by her sister, Nadia.

Tatiana had many interests. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook and share her garden bounty with friends and neighbours. When she wasn’t poking around in her gardens, you would find her in her favourite chair embroidering beautiful Ukrainian blouses, tablecloths and pillows.

Tatiana was an active member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed being a member of the ladies sisterhood and cherished the many friendships that she shared during those years.

May she rest in eternal peace.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Tony Clark, on Sunday November 5, 2023 at the age of 66 years.

He passed at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his wife and family present by his side.

Beloved son of late Lorraine Allin (Clark), Loving husband of Linda Clark (nee Paterson) for 46 years, Cherished father of Jennifer Brine (Dion), Crystal Clark (Dean Johnson), Geoff Clark (Emma) Adored Grampa of Brianna, Logan, Rachel, Roewyn.

The eldest brother of Allin Clark (Carol Reid), Adrian Clark (Sharon), the late Andrew Clark, Andrew Loyer (Tonnie), Romana Marion (Dave Montgomery), Renee Lomow (Dave), and ‘Big Brother/Little Brother’ Andrew Couche. Tony was a dedicated employee at General Motors and retired after 43 years.

Tony was a man of many different talents and passions, in his years he loved playing hockey & baseball, would spend hours with a line in the water waiting for a bite, or search through the trees for his golf ball. Most of all, Tony loved spending time with his biggest pride and joy, his family! Dearest Husband, Dad, Grampa, Brother, & Friend, you touched so many lives, had such a huge impact with so many people, and will be missed greatly by so many!

We are so blessed to have had your in our lives and we love you with all our hearts!

You are the MAN, the MYTH, the LEGEND and all of our HEROS! You will never be forgotten! Finally; he would want everyone to hear these words from him... "GO LEAFS GO!!!"

Lovingly remembered and will be missed dearly by daughters Kim (Andre) and Judi (Doug).

Rae was pre deceased by his wife of 66 years, Gloria. He will be fondly remembered and missed by Joan. Dad loved his furry friend, Rusty, the cat.

Dad worked for Ontario Hydro for 34 years and retired at the young age of 58. At 59 he went to fill in at Arksey Lumber for a few weeks or... 24 years! He loved working there and driving the delivery truck. He found it very social.

Mom and Dad enjoyed many parties, dances and socializing over the years, hosting many summer pool parties. Dad loved to snowmobile, play cards, dance and just have a good time. He always had time to chat. In later years he enjoyed his coffee time with buddy Bill and breakfast companion Ted on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Dad was certainly known around Cannington for his well kept lawn and his always clean car – almost always a red car!

A big THANK YOU to the nursing staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion with dad.

Cremation has taken place and a casual drop in Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 1 - 3 p.m. at the Cannington Lions Hall, Laidlaw Street South.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Brock Animal Shelter or Ross Memorial Hospital would be appreciated .

It is with profound sadness that we share that our precious and beloved wife, mother and daughter, Terri Shoniker, passed away on Friday, October 27th.

Predeceased by her beloved father William Bill Scott, Terri is survived by her family, who made up the entirety of her world, including her husband Mark, her mother Cora, her sons William and Mark Jr., her daughter-in-law Winkae and the balance of her extended family.

She shared that joy and love throughout her years working with children while at the Toronto School Board.

Not surprisingly, she spent the last half of her career working with developmentally challenged young students, helping them through their special circumstances.

Friends and family are invited to join us in a celebration of Terris life on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave, Ajax,ON. Visitation to start at 10:00am. Service at 11:00am, followed by a reception at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Terri would have preferred that any donations be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region. Interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Markham, ON L6B 1A8 to follow at approximately 2:00pm.

Also known as Terry, passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 70 in Oshawa, Ontario.

He was born on September 18, 1953, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Michele Reid, and Terry's children, Nicole (Jones) Smith and Tara Jones.

He was a cherished father-in-law to Jason Smith and Ron McKoy, and a proud grandfather to Carter Smith, Max Smith, and Ben McKoy.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, William Jones, his mother, Winifred (Flanagan) Jones, and his brother, Robert (Bobby) Jones.

He will also be remembered by his brothers, Tony Jones and Steve Jones, as well as his nephew, Robert Jones, and nieces, Lisa Jones and Courtney Bath and great niece Grace Jones.

A celebration of Terry's life will be held at a later date, and there are no memorial services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Lab Rescue (lab-rescue.ca) in Terry's memory.

Visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Wednesday October 25th from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will be held at the Beacan Presbyterian Church, Beaverton, on Thursday October 26th at 2P.M. with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Stone Church Cemetery.

Tim was the beloved husband of 36 years to Kim.

Tim was pre-deceased by his parents Joe and May Maiola, and father-in-law Howard Dickinson.

Tim was son-in-law to Edith Dickinson, brother-in-law to Lori and Joe, Bill and Janet and a much-loved uncle to Julianna, Adam, Vân, Taylor, Kate, Megan, Dillon, Mitchell, Rachel, and Andrew.

Tim recently became a great uncle to Alexander and Lloyd.
Tim worked at Bell Canada for his entire 43-year career, retiring in 2021 as a technician in Installation and Repair.

He recently celebrated 40 years of service as an Auxiliary Police Officer with the Toronto Police Service.

It was his greatest passion.

Tim will be resting at McEachnie Funeral Home; 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 25th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM; and Thursday, October 26th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Interment to follow in Ajax.
