Passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the young age of 66.
He is predeceased by his wife of 40 loving years, Lynn Peters (2016).
He is the cherished husband of Susan Peters.
Proud father of Scott, Brian (Julie), and Samantha (Kyle). Adoring Papa to Clark, Beau, Henry, Sadie, and Rhea. Admired step-father to Susan’s children, Katherine (Craig), Christopher (Charlotte), and Kelly (Matthew).
Dear brother of Susan (Richard) and Debbie (Brian). Gordon will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. He was involved in many community activities - President of Lindsay/Whitby/Ajax Minor Hockey, Treasurer of MG Club, Member of 100 Men Club in Oshawa.
Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby on Wednesday, March 6th from 2:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. A private service will be held in the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the famil.

George was a man that lived his faith every day of his life, whether it was building over 500 bicycles to be sent to third world countries, stopping to help someone in need on the side of the road, or always willing to help fix cars.
He loved life, every moment was cherished and he saw the beauty in everything.
George was a proud member of St. Mary of the People Catholic Church for many years.
He retired from General Motors after 33.7 years of dedicated service.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Peacefully passed away at the age of 81 on February 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and three children.
Born on February 1, 1943, in Georgetown Guyana, to the late Oscar and Cyriaca Castanheiro.
Gerry lived an active life and started with the Royal Bank of Canada in 1962 as a clerk.
His career spanned an impressive forty-three-years which included travels and time spent in Trinidad & Tobago, St. Lucia and then back to Guyana.
Gerard spent fifty-seven wonderful years with the love of his life Elsie and leaves behind his devoted children, Lisa (Joseph Yatco), Kevin and Julianne.
His beloved grandsons Matthew and Anthony. His best friend and dance partner, his adoring Yorkie KJ. Gerry is also survived by his siblings, Joseph, Margaret, Bernard, Rosalind, Andrew and his many treasured nieces and nephews.

Gary had a very long journey with P.D & Dementia- 16 years, he never complained.
He worked for GM & EDS and ended his career at the D.R.C in Flint Michigan, where he spent 11 wonderful years entertaining family and friends year round. We were also a short drive from Mackinac Island.
The stays there with Best Friends, Ed & Nelli Purdy and my brother Bill and his wife Helen were the best!!We did Gary’s Bucket List after his diagnosis- cruising was the way.
Fairview Lodge was his final home and believe me, it was HOME.
I could never ask for a better group of people to look after a loved one.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of George Lucien Ladouceur on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at the age of 76, surrounded by his loving family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
George, a man of unwavering dedication, was a hard worker throughout his life.
He spent many years as a proud employee of General Motors Canada, contributing his skills and passion to his work.
His commitment to his family was equally admirable, as he lovingly supported his wife Suzanne for an incredible 58 years of marriage.
George had a remarkable sense of humor that brightened the lives of everyone around him. He loved to laugh, tease, and joke around, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
Those who knew him will forever cherish the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives.
As a devoted family man, George took great pride in being a father to Danny (Jennifer), Marc (Nadine), and Pierre (Brandy).
His role as Pérėre to Émilie, Sarah, Élyse, Alexandra, Ethan, Luke, Rebekah, Madison, and Brianna was one of pure love and guidance.
His legacy of love and support will undoubtedly live on through the generations he leaves behind. George was also a dear brother to Simone Perron (Late Anicet), late Richard Ladouceur, Germaine Ladouceur, Denis (Anne), Louise Ladouceur (Late Joe), and loved brother in-law of Fernand, late Normand, Pauline, Therese, Claude, Raymond and Maurice.
Will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. George found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He embraced the tranquility of nature, expressing his love for the outdoors by enjoying activities such as hunting, fishing, and gardening. His appreciation for the beauty of the world extended to his love for birds.
An avid and competitive card player, George's competitive spirit shone through in his leisure time with family. Whether engaged in a friendly game or a heated competition, he approached each moment with enthusiasm and a determination to enjoy life to the fullest.
In retirement, George and his beloved wife Suzanne shared the joy of exploring new destinations, creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday February 10, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Son of the late Frank and Olive Round.
Devoted husband of 48 years to Darlene “Dar” (nee Abraham).
Loving father to Heather Stover (Chad), Kirk Round (Denise) and Allison Wrona (Matt). Proud grandfather to Sarah, Sawyer, Cole and Nolan.
Cherished younger brother to Scott Round (Lynn).
Gary was born and raised in the suburbs of Montreal.
After attending Bishop's University, he met and fell in love with Darlene while they were both working at the Toronto Dominion Bank.
Gary found his career calling in advertising, and they moved to Toronto in 1977, followed by a relocation to Markham to raise their family. In 2011, they moved to their dream home on Crystal Lake, north of Fenelon Falls.
Gary was a true sports fan. As a football player, it was once written ‘he was harder to tackle than a rolling manhole cover.’
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date in the spring.
The family would like to thank the wonderful team of doctors and nurses who cared for, supported and encouraged Gary during his illness.
A special thank you goes out to the team at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, for their kindness and compassion during his final days.

Predeceased by the love of his life, Audrey Ball in 2014, his daughter Katherine Gillingham in 2021 and son Todd Ball in 2022.
Survived by his daughter Susan Gillingham and Stacy Nicholls (Paul).
Gerald will be remembered and missed by his extended family, friends and pets.
