Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side after a brief illness on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the age of 93 years.
Dearly beloved husband of Christel of 69 years of marriage.
Loving father of Gabriele King (Peter).
Cherished Opi of Joshua Warne, Christina Warne-Brown (Chris), Matthew Warne (Gillian), and great Opi of Eva, Lily, Rocky and Christel.
Survived by his brother in Germany Werner Petrowski and predeceased by his sisters Betty Griese and Irmgard Eckert.
Heinz will be missed by his extended family and friends.
He will be remembered as a devoted family man, avid gardener and 50 year member of Club Loreley.
Special Thank You to Markham Stouffville Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (365-800-4833) on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life 1:30 p.m.
Interment will be held at Thornton Cemetery.

The family of Helen Hardie announces her passing on Monday July 25, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at 101 years young.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years Bert, her parents Annie & Clayton Lee, her three brothers Henry, Bob & Jimmy.
Helen will be dearly missed by her four daughters Sandra (Phil), Diane (Ed), Joanne (Mike), and Pam (Martti).
Her loving grandchildren Scott, Michelle, Rhonda, Angie, Hayden, and Garrett, her sweet great grandchildren Rachel, Jessica, Reid & Jaime, and her beautiful great great grandchildren Eva, Amara & Zara.
Helen will be in the hearts of many forever.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with a Celebration of Life taking place Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 3 pm in the funeral home Chapel. Visitation will take place from 1 pm until service time.
She was the Matriarch for Our Family.

Passed away at home on July 23, 2022 in his 81st year after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband and best friend of Lynn “his Ralphie” for 37 years.
Step-father to Kirk Gilliland and Brent Gilliland (Sherry Brown).
Grandpa to Elisha Burke and Nate Gilliland; great-grandpa to Aniyah and Haven.
Mike will be missed by his brothers Larry Cummins and Paul Hale and by many, many friends.
He can now karaoke in Heaven.
RIP Mike.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Wheelhouse in Wilmot Creek to be announced.

Helen was predeceased by her loving sister Evelyn Reid (Bill Reid) and her cherished parents Wilhelmine Anne Roach (Rember) and Ernest Otton Roach. She will be lovingly remembered by her many friends and community.

It is with profound sadness and love, that we announce the passing of our mom, Henny at the age of 84.
Henny died peacefully in her beloved home with her four daughters, Cathy, Paula, Patricia, and Pamela by her side.
Henny was predeceased by her first husband (George Alan Dickson), her son (Philip George Dickson) and her second husband (Kenneth Howard Conklin).
Henny is the dear sister of Joyce, John, Anne and Barry.
She was loved by many nieces and nephews, sixteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Henny was an avid gardener, loved to play bridge, was an artist of exquisite needlework, and loved to travel.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27th followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m.
Both the visitation and service are being held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A) in Port Perry.
Her family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kim Ferguson for her exemplary care and kindness.
She truly went above and beyond in her care and support of our mom.

Predeceased by her husband Gavino (2011).

Grandmother of Andrew, Joshua, Lauren, Gabriella and Nicholas.
Dear sister of Fe Nidoy (late Juanito), Arturo Austriaco and his wife Maruja, Carmen Payumo and her husband Juanito, Alfredo Austriaco and his wife Joan, Angelina Reolada (late Antonio).

Herby Hamade

1931 - 2022 Herby Hamade passed away peacefully on June 30, 2022 at Ajax Pickering Hospital after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan (nee Nishimura), and his son Jody and his wife Deborah.
Herby is also survived by his brother Ron and sisters Mary (Yoshida) and Pansy (Otsu).
Predeceased by his parents, Matsunosake and Hana Hamade, brothers Joe, Roy, Frank and sisters Alice (Koyama), Mae (Sugimura). Herby was Uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be missed by his extended family and friends. Herby enjoyed watching the Blue Jays and Raptors and whatever wife Joan put on TV.
A man of simple tastes and few words, he liked nothing more than spending time with his family.
At the family’s direction, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Momiji Health Care Society or a CHARITY of choice would be greatly appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Ajax Pickering Hospital, West Wing floors 2 & 4 for their compassion and care of Herby during his time there.
