Gail was born on April 15, 1943 to Margaret Hale and Robert Cook in Toronto. She married her husband of 60 years, Paul Rooney, on December 1, 1962.

She loved to sing, bird watching and playing a good game of cribbage.

Gail’s favourite verse was John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Date and location of the Celebration of Life to be determined.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Gail's name would be appreciated.
