Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on October 28, 2021 at the age of 94 years.
Predeceased by her parents John Penny and Bride Penny (Tremblett), her 11 siblings Kate, Mary, Margaret, Philip, Thomas, Agatha, Joseph, John, Elizabeth, Theresa and Carmel. Survived by her beloved sister Loretta.
Predeceased by her beloved husbands Thomas R O'Connor (1986) and Neil Kendall (2009).
Loving mother of Elissa O'Connor Wood and Brian O'Connor (Debbie).
Cherished grandmother of Meaghan (Eric), Kaitlyn (Michael), Olivia (Ian), Alanna (Adam) and Simon (Lovely). Great grandmother of Tegan, Esmae, Maeve, Axton and Maverick. Cherished mother in law of Tony Wood.
Hannah will be remembered as the life of the party and her good sense of humour.
A woman who enjoyed her 27 cruises to different parts of the world. Her love of travelling to Las Vegas yearly and her love of Bingo. She was a proud Newfoundlander and loved a good Jiggs dinner.
Most importantly she loved all her family and all the wonderful get togethers over the years. She will be dearly missed by us all. 'Til we meet again.
Our family is very grateful to the Nurses and Doctors of G9 Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their excellent compassionate care of our beloved mother (Grama, Nana).

Peacefully passed away at his home in Oshawa, in his 95th year.
He was dedicated to and is survived by his loving wife Peggy (Margaret Fulton), along with his children Mike (”Boomer”), Sharon, Brian, Kirk (wife Laurie), Matt (wife Gaitree) and Nancy (husband Guy).
He will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Hugh is also survived by his partner in crime, his loving brother James(wife Agnes).
He was predeceased by his sisters Jean Brooks (Stan) and Margaret Gibson (Sam).
Before retiring, Hugh spent more than 50 years as an engineer in the Tool and Die Making business.
He had a lifetime passion for the trade, a passion he often shared with his friends and family.
Hugh had a generous heart and, while humble, touched many lives. His dry sense of humour was always on hand, even in difficult times. His family meant everything to him, and he was deeply proud of them all.
They will always be thankful for the gift of his life and the peacefullness of his passing.
A celebration of Hugh’s life is being planned for mid-November.

(John to his friends) - Passed away Sept 22nd at his home completing the full life of an unassuming man.
Fleeing North Korea as a child, John chose to travel Europe before coming to Canada.
Initially working construction, he became an independent Taxi owner of 40 years before retiring due to COVID-19.
Marrying Liesbeth Kim the two moved to Whitby in 84 living together until her passing in 2004.
Those fortunate enough to meet John quickly recognized his warmth and character and those lucky enough to be his friend knew they could count on his support even if all that was needed was a smile.
The hole left by his passing is a testament to lives he touched.
