1940 - 2022
On Monday November 21, 2022, Christopher Robin Agate, beloved husband of Angela, passed away.
He was 82.
Born in Portsmouth, England, Chris graduated from Bristol University as a civil engineer and spent much of his career living and working in Hong Kong, Wales, Nigeria, Ghana and Oman.
He lived in England upon retirement, and was active in the Rotary Club and the Buckinghamshire Association for The Blind.
Later, Chris enjoyed married life with Angela living in a small village in Buckinghamshire before moving to Canada several years ago – living in Cobourg and Pickering.
He is survived by his wife Angela and daughters Jenny and Christine and three grandchildren in England, from his first wife.
He also leaves step-daughters Karen and Suzanne and their families.
Donations may be directed to Ajax Pickering Hospital and The Canadian Cancer Society.
Suddenly and sadly on Friday November 18th, 2022, The Lord called home Charlotte Xibilia.
Beloved daughter of Hugh G Mackintosh and Catherine Mackintosh.
Charlotte was the cherished wife of Nunzio Xibilia and leaves behind 3 children, Jacob, Abigale and Sarah.
Charlotte will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by her siblings Heather (Clare) Duguay, Debbie (Ed) Faber, Tom (Christine) Mackintosh, Gerry (Lori) Mackintosh and Scott (Kathy) Mackintosh.
Charlotte also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Went home to be with the Lord on November 9th, 2022 at the age of 80.
Coming from a family of 15 children, on December 8th, 1941, Ceta was the 5th child born in the island of Jamaica to Albert Alfonzo Harris and Clarine Eugenie Harris.
As a child she excelled in school and loved to sew, cook and bake.
Graduating from highschool here in Ontario, Canada, Ceta obtained her grade 12 diploma. Always wanting to be a pediatrician as a child, she graduated as an RNA from Durham College. Ceta served as a nurse at Fairview Lodge in Whitby, Ontario.
Called to be an Evangelist, Ceta received her diploma of Christian Counseling, and a degree in Master of Theology at the Bibleway Institute of Toronto.
She loved to cook and take care of her family. Her favorite hobbies were studying the bible, sewing and making clothes for herself and children.
Ceta Harris has left behind her two daughters: Judith Alvina Hutchinson and Erica Lorraine Ariel, and her two grandsons: Jordan Christian Ariel and Zion Hutchinson. She has also left behind her two sisters living in Ontario, Canada, Joyce Smith and family, and Karlene Harris, and family, and her brothers and sisters and their families from Jamaica.
Visitation will be Held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa, on Wednesday November 23rd from 7:00 - 9:00pm A memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday November 24th, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the Thornton Cemetery in Oshawa .
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Robert Carl Como, announce his death. Robert “Bob”, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home on the morning of November 1, 2022 at age 75 after a courageous battle with Kidney failure.
Robert leaves behind his faithful wife, Theresa “Treese” (nee Kortekaas), his beloved daughter Samantha (Ryan), and sons Rudy (Joleen), and Robert (Rebecca).
Bob was predeceased by his loving son Brett, who passed away in January 2021.
Robert will also be missed by his two grandchildren; Isaac and Liam Como.
Survived by his brother Perry (Claudia) Como of Whitby, and is cousin Rick (Kate) Como who he visited often in Detroit Michigan.
Predeceased by sister Jeannie (Lorne), and brother John. Robert was born May 12, 1947 in Picton, ON and grew up in Whitby, ON where he met and wed his wife, Theresa. He moved the family to Cannington, ON to be raised in the beautiful country side.
He was an intelligent, witty and dutiful man who supported his family and wife while working for General Motors. Robert Como will be greatly mourned by the people who loved him and his memory will be cherished forever.
A Celebration of Bob’s life was held at the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre on Saturday November 5, 2022.

Dear nephew of Ann and Richard Ledwidge, Frank and Catriona Martina, Alan and Jayne Martina, Tony and Ann Martina. Maria (predeceased) and Gerry Van Loon, the late David Murphy, Elizabeth Murphy and Philip Murphy.
Connor will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, their families and his extended family and many friends and co-workers at OPG.

89 years old, passed away from Alzheimer's on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Parkview Home in Stouffville, Ontario with her daughter and partner by her side.
She was born November 14, 1932, in Nipissing, Ontario, to Peter and Annie Lariviere.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie Sabean, her sister Diana Grix, and her partner Norm Goodspeed.
Her two sons Ronald and Peter, husband Allison, and nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Tragically, she also suffered the loss of a newborn baby boy with an inoperable enlarged heart.
She brought him home briefly then returned him to the hospital where he died a few short days later.
Sis loved cooking, baking, knitting, sewing and traveling.
Some of her favourite trips were with her sister Diana in Branson, Hawaii and Dollywood.
She also volunteered at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital gift shop. Some of her various occupations over the years included cook at the Uxbridge bowling alley, sales clerk and cashier at Siegrist's, JB Variety, and IGA, and serving at her friend's catering events.
Eventually she retired at the age of 65 from Davies IDA Pharmacy where she maintained the inventory and placed orders.
Many thanks to the staff at Parkview Home in Stouffville for her wonderful care.
Cremation has taken place. Per her wishes her burial will take place privately with her family at a later date at Uxbridge Cemetery.
1955 - 2022
After bravely fighting a difficult battle with cancer, Carlos passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family in the early morning of October 27, 2022.
Carlos married the love of his life, Alice in 1977, who survives him.
Carlos is also survived by his son Carlos (Leah), daughter Jennifer (Mike), his brother Nelo (Dilia), and five beautiful grandchildren, Cole, Ben, Nate, Tyler and Preston.
Carlos will be greatly missed by his surviving family both overseas and in Canada, including sisters-in-law, Felicidade (Joe), Antonia (Joe), brother-in-law Antonio (Lucilia), his many caring nephews, nieces, his Tia Carolina (Manuel - predeceased), Tia Olivia and cousins, abroad, as well as his friends, colleagues and neighbours.
Originally from Porto, Portugal, Carlos and Alice came to Canada in 1978 to build a new and beautiful life – which is exactly what they did! Carlos was known for his dedication to family, his incredible work ethic, and love of gardening. He also loved traveling and returned to Portugal almost yearly to visit with loved ones and to soak up the sun and sand in Quarteira, Algarve.
In his later years, he especially took much joy in spending quality time with his wife and children, their partners, and his grandchildren.
His family would like to thank the many caring health professionals from the Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre and the Ajax/Pickering Palliative Care Team.

Claudette was proud to be a resident of Havelock and ran the Baker’s Dozen Flower Shop in Havelock.
She loved spending time with her family and playing cards.
