It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of Michael Joseph Clementi Jr. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the age of 57, with his beloved wife Michele Woodrow by his side.

Michael has gained his angel wings and is now reunited in heaven with his dear father, Michael Sr. His compassion, huge heart, and humility will forever be cherished by Michele, as well as by his mother Shirley, his sister Angela, his niece Alyssa, his stepchildren Crystal (Christopher) and Tiffany (Joseph), and Michele’s grandchildren Briley and Bryson.

Born and raised in Spotswood, New Jersey, Michael held a deep passion for his hometown. He spent many years working at Shop Rite before making his way to Canada. He will be fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him, both in Canada and New Jersey.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Connelly on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 49 years. After a courageous battle against cancer for a year and a half, he passed peacefully with his wife Holley by his side.

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Toronto, Dennis eventually moved to Uxbridge, where he met his wife of 25 years, Holley. He loved NASCAR and his yearly trips to Michigan with his brother and best friends. Sunday dinners with his family while watching his Patriots, Red Sox, or Bruins were among his favorite times. He also cherished his quiet moments spent fishing.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Holley and their two children, Russell and Raine. Dennis is also survived by his mother Mary, brother Robert, step-sister Sebastienne, brothers-in-law Stuart and John, mother-in-law Sandra, sister-in-law Elizabeth, brother-in-law and best friend Tyler, cousin Billy, as well as nieces, nephews, and great nephew. He is predeceased by his sister Sarah, brother Nicholas, and father Herold. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to all of his nursing staff, especially Bre, Natasha, and Vera, for their kindness during his care.

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Sheila Anne Cox (Pagnutty) on October 1, 2024 after a hard battle with cancer.
Sheila is predeceased in death by her husband, Bob, Loving mother to Meredith (Chris), Stephanie, Julia (Sam). Dedicated and loving Grandma to Jamie, Dahlia, Will, Gavin, Ellie, Celeste and Matt. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Dolores and Lesley and Sister-in-Law Joanne as well as her many nieces, nephews and long time friends.

Growing up in Etobicoke Sheila attended Alderwood Collegiate and then went onto Atkinson school of nursing at Toronto Western Hospital. It was while nursing that she met her future husband and love of her life, Bob Cox who was studying to be a Dentist.
Sheila and Bob settled in Oshawa and spent the next 53 years raising a family and doting on their 7 beloved Grandchildren.

Sheila retired from nursing to focus on raising her family and in that time worked as an Educational Assistant in Oshawa schools where she was viewed as a dedicated and well loved member of the school community.
In retirement, Sheila and Bob loved to travel with their friends and saw many different parts of the world. Sheila’s most loved trips were to England to visit her oldest daughter and family.
Sheila always had a passion for music as a pianist and vocalist. She was an active member of her community and church.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held for Sheila on Saturday October 19, 2024 at Mount Lawn Funeral Home in Whitby from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Norma Marlene Chosen in her 87th year on Friday, September 27, 2024. Surrounded by her loving family, Norma went peacefully into God’s care.

Cherished mother to Carol (Mike), Paul (Late) and Alan (Lori). She was the very proud Gramma to Laura (Brandon), Valerie (Greg) and Sarah. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her along her journey. She is reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband Walter (2019).

Norma and Walter loved nothing more than to be with family, usually over a dinner or celebration of some kind. She was proud to have been married to him for 60 years. Norma enjoyed travelling, bowling, sewing, knitting, shopping, baseball, hockey and all things chocolate. She was strong, resilient, courageous, kind, generous, creative, funny and had a heart that was full of love – she was always there for you, no matter what. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

We love you with all our hearts and we miss you every day.

Visitation will be at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Procession will be made to Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Norma will be laid to rest.

Donations may be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Parkinson Canada. Cards will be available at the Funeral Home or donations may be made online.
