Carolyn fought and lost a difficult battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in the early hours of Tuesday, November 2nd 2021.

Despite her condition, Carolyn kept her spirits high, and surrounded herself with loving family until the very end. She left us at the age of 75.

Carolyn will be warmly remembered by her loving husband of 54 years, Patrick Herrington.

Together they raised 2 children, Thomas and Lisa; who will never forget the memories they shared with their one and only mother. She welcomed a warmhearted son-in-law, Rocky Bell when Lisa married.

Her grandchildren; Kaitlyn (& Pat), Jordan, Jacob, and Jackson will miss their grandmother deeply and the time they spent with her.

Carolyn also has a great-granddaughter on the way who is due early 2022. Family truly was the center of Carolyn’s life, sharing her time with her loved ones was always at the top of her to-do list.
Carolyn had a very large family; some would say she was the glue that held it together.

She will be missed and remembered by so many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many more.

Carolyn cherished a loving relationship with her Aunt Shirley (and Uncle Ed), sharing many fond memories of her childhood with her family. Predeceased by her parents (William and Betty), and brothers (Rick, Ken, and Jim), Carolyn has many loved ones to catch up with in the next life. Carolyn touched the lives of so many people throughout her days, she will surely not be forgotten.

She was kind, never judging another person until she got to know them. And she was full of wisdom that she shared with her family every chance she could.

Memories of Carolyn will always be filled with Joy, Happiness, and Love.
