Christa was born on Christmas day 1938, In Offenburg, Germany.
She came to Canada at the age of 18 in 1956.
She worked briefly at an umbrella factory in Toronto and met her husband, Manfred, who is also from Offenburg.
She was soon married and had 3 children.
She worked hard as a home maker; cooking, cleaning, and looking after her family. She had a fun and happy cottage life for 36 years where she swam across the lake (the long way).
Loving wife of Manfred for 63 years.
Loving Mother of Peter, Diana (Jim) and Andrew (Brett).
Proud Oma of Lucas, Stephen (Nancy) Josef, Mitchell, Dominik (Samantha) Shawn, Bobby and Grace.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, registration is required to join the family for the visiting at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, ON, on Thursday September 23, 2021 from 10-11am. The Memorial service will follow at 11am. Dress according to the weather, the visiting and the service will both be held outdoors. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

Chris leaves behind his loving wife Joan, their sons Neill (Katie), Steven, grandsons Jakob and Cole, sister Diane (Fred deceased) Parish, sisters-in-law Marilyn (David) Phasey, Judy (Vern) Brooks, predeceased by his parents Fred and Mary Brooks, sisters Gwen (Harold), Mildred “Toots” Pegg (late Doug), Marina Bauder (late Laverne), brothers David Phasey, Vern Brooks, and Fred “Sonny” Brooks Jr. Chris was born in 1955 in Oshawa Ontario.
He attended R.S. McLaughlin High School.
In 1966 He joined the 1913 Ontario Regiment Cadet Corps where he met his wife Joan in 1972. Later in the 1970s Chris enlisted in the Ontario Regiment Royal Canadian Armored Corps.
Chris and Joan were married in 1977 in Centennial Albert United Church, Oshawa Ontario.
Chris and Joan welcomed there first son, Neill in 1987, and their second son Steven in 1989.
In 1994 Chris began working for the Government of Canada as an executive assistant to Ivan Grose, MP.
In 2001 Chris began working as an instructor with the 1913 Ontario Regiment Cadet Corps and was granted a Queen's Commission in 2002.
Chris was later awarded a Canadian Forces' Decoration for his service.
In 2005 Chris began working at the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services as a case worker in the Ontario Disability Support Program office.
In 2007 Chris welcomed his first grandson Jakob, followed by Cole in 2011.
He also welcomed Neill’s wife Katie to the family in 2011.
Chris retired from public service 2016.

Carl passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 10,2021 at the age of 87 at Sunnycrest Nursing home, Whitby.
Beloved husband of Rita (nee Verfaillie) of 61 years.
Loving father of Ron (Margaret), Derek (Laurie) and predeceased by his loving daughter Kathleen.
Proud grandfather to Stephanie (Kevin and Chloe), Meghan (Andrew), Natalie (Chris), Erin (Riley), and Sarah.
Loving brother-in-law to the late Anita Verfaillie.
Loving uncle to Corine (Chuck) and Craig (Diane) and their children Adrian (Amy), Jake (Alyssa) and Spencer and great great uncle to Hannah, Keira and Cameron.
Carl was born in Celle, Germany and at the age of four he was placed in an orphanage.
At the age of 14 he was released into the custody of an uncle and was a bricklayer by trade in Germany.
He came across to Canada alone in 1952 at the age of 18 years old unable to speak any English.
He got a job in Port Hope on a tobacco farm where he met his wife Rita and his future in-laws Valere and Mary Verfaillie.
Valere was a major influence in Carl's life and mentored him to be the patriarch of the family. On June 25,1960 Carl and Rita were married and had three children.
They tragically lost their beloved daughter Kathleen at the age of 16 in 1979.
Carl was a hard-working devoted father and loved his family immensely. For 61 years he was a very devoted and caring husband to his wife Rita, they had many happy years together.
Carl was a wonderful father and proud grandfather of five beautiful granddaughters. He will be missed immensely by all who loved him.
Private cremation to take place.

Gary It is with a sad and heavy heart that we announce that Christopher Gary Doyle passed away suddenly on August 30, 2021.
He is survived by his mother Ella, wife Heather, daughter Amanda, granddaughters Arianna and Sofia, his brothers Alphonse and Denis and Niece Caitlin.
Chris was born September 18, 1968 on Les Isles de la Madeliene, Quebec, located in the St. Lawrence River.
He later moved to Toronto at the age of seven.
At 13, he found the love of his life, Heather, with whom he had two children, Amanda and Douglas. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
A devout family man, he was always there whenever anyone needed him. He had many health complications throughout his life, but through it all, he still was happy, motivated and made people laugh especially the nurses who worked with him. He loved his grandchildren tremendously, and they loved him.
He was a car enthusiast who loved building things and a hard worker who always gave his all in whatever he was doing. Chris was loyal, determined and always got the job done.
He was one of a kind and will never be forgotten.

Clara was the cherished wife of Reginald Tomkinson for 46 years until his passing in August 2004.

Passed away peacefully at Trillium Mississauga on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 66.
Predeceased by her parents Harold and Mary Fisher and brother Michael Fisher (Lies).
Loving sister to Patricia (Dominique), Josephine, and Marie (Stephen).
Will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Christine worked 20 years at Pride Daycare and had volunteered at St. Vincent’s Kitchen for many years.
With the new build of St. Vincent’s Kitchen they will be having a rock engraved in honour of Christine.
She was an inspiration to all and was extremely loved.
She will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed.
Christine will be resting at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL , 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
