Camille was born and raised on a farm in Quill Lake Saskatchewan.It was at a D.I.L. dance that she met Douglas Crozier, a farmer from Scugog Island.They were married in 1945 and settled on his family farm on Crozier Lane on Scugog Island.Camille contributed to the community in many ways, such as serving on the local Hospital Auxiliary for many years. Camille was honoured to have the hospital gift shop and thrift shop named after her “Camille’s Corner and Camille’s Closet”.For the last 2 ½ years Camille has resided at West Shore Retirement VillageDue to the restrictions of COVID-19 a private service with family and friends will be held in Port Perry.
March 1, 1948 – November 22, 2020 Czeslawa Wanda was Born March 1, 1948 in Lisie Pole Poland.Passing peacefully at Lakeridge Health Hospital with her loved ones by her side, succumbing to her short battle with cancer on November 22, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Richard Wierzbicki, reuniting with him at the gates of heaven 22 years later. Wanda is survived by her daughters (son in-laws) Anna (Glenn), Marta (Chris). It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine McNally McGranachan announces her passing on Sunday November 29th, 2020 in her 85th year. Cathie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim of 63 years and her sons Steven (Kim) and Alan. Cathie will also be fondly remembered by her three granddaughters Terri-Ann (Lisbon), Julie (Chris), and Kelce (Luke) along with her 6 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her sister Christine Welsh, brother Robert (Margaret) Welsh and predeceased by her brother Jim McGrattan in Scotland. Clara passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Hospital Oshawa on Friday November 20, 2020 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband of 66 years, Harold Martyn and her brother Robert (Bob) Palmer. Survived by her sister-in-law Marina Palmer and nephew Robert D. Palmer; cousins Suzanne Eckler and Joan Martin. Clara will be missed by her family and friends. Per Clara's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held at this time due to COVID restrictions and complications.
