Survived by son, and closest friend, Wayne Willmore of Oshawa, granddaughters Leanne Smokowich (Rob) of Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Lemieux (Martin) of Kapuskasing, great grandson Tyler Smokowich, and great granddaughters Hailey Smokowich and Emma Lemieux, son-in-law Doug Luffman of Kapuskasing. Brother-in-Law to Donald Young (Barbara). Uncle to Heather Hart, David Young and Lisa Mumby. Bill lived on a farm in Birtle, Manitoba as an infant. He then moved to Toronto when he was around 3 years old, and later moved to Oshawa to work for GM, retiring from GM Product Engineering in 1993 after over 41 years of service.He spent some vacation time in Hawaii, Florida and Myrtle Beach but always loved to spend as much time at the family cottage, that he built, as he could. He enjoyed golfing in his retirement and was very proud to get his first hole in one at 80 years of age.A special thank you to all the staff at Hillsdale Estates, Apple Blossom Unit, for their care and compassion over the last three months.A private family service will be held in Whitby.If desired, donations may be made to a CHARITY of your choice.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Georgina Stiner, on December 16, 2020 at the age of 89.As saddened as we are, we are at ease knowing Mom passed during a moment of pure joy, playing Mahjong on her iPad.Predeceased by her husband Hilliard and her sons Jim and Garry; She will always be cherished by her daughters Lynn (Dave), Donna (Bruce) and daughter-in-law Lorrie.Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren who adored her with all their hearts.Remembered by her sister Pearl Taylor, foster brother David Pascoe and sister-in-law Margaret Wood; along with extended family and friends. Mom loved life to the fullest and was the highlight of many family and friend gatherings.She was an active participant in senior’s clubs in Uxbridge, Goodwood and Claremont, and also loved attending Sunday services at the Life Church in Claremont.Mom has spent the last four years living at Butternut Manor before moving to her daughter and son-in-law’s (Bruce and Donna) home in Bobcaygeon four months ago.She spent the last four months enjoying the view of the lake while eagerly spotting ducks as they pass by.“OH BRUCE THERE’S THE DUCKS!” Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private family service was held after which Georgina was laid to rest in Uxbridge Cemetery.
