Ronald was born in Oshawa, Ontario.

He is survived by Helen, his beloved wife of 71 years and his children Elizabeth, Barbara and her husband Earl Wotton, and Jordan and his wife Lori.

He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jared (Sarah), Stephanie (Eric), Glenna (Joel), and Carson and his great-grandchildren Poppy, Claire, Arlo, Goldie, Colin and Hollis.

Dear brother of the late Joan and Robert.

Ronald was a highly skilled commercial artist having received the Professional Artist Award from the City of Oshawa in 2018 and also was honoured as the designer of the New Brunswick 25 cent coin commemorating the 125th anniversary of Canada's confederation.

Ronald enjoyed fishing, carving, painting, especially anything involving nature and the outdoors.

Ronald was a lifelong resident of Oshawa, a member of St. Andrew's United Church in Oshawa until its closing and then a member of Faith United Church in Courtice.

The family would like to thank the staff at Harmony Hill Retirement Community and the staff at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville for the wonderful care they provided.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa on Saturday November 4th from 12:30 pm until time of service in the Chapel at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to The Hospital For Sick Children, Faith United Church or the Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery would be appreciated.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Marg. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Lynn and Pat(John).

Cherished Papa to Jack and Sara.

Dear brother to Donald Gaudet(Carol), Jessie Gaudet and Goldie Tidd. Fondly remembered by his longtime friend Anne Mullen, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers Chesley(Eulah), Richard(Ruby) and Bernard and his sisters Louise Thibeau, Helen Prime and Marjorie Trask.

He will be remembered for his woodworking and cooking skills, and we will all miss our go-to guy.

In keeping with Raymond's wishes, no formal service will be held, and he will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 11 at Bowmanville Cemetery.

Russell retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and he was a member of the GM Pipe Band. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Ronald Joseph Belton passed away on October 19, 2023, at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry in his 91st year.

He was surrounded by his loving wife, Rita Francis (Mickey), and their six children, Lynn Adams (Marc), Elizabeth Wallis, Chris Belton (Sherry), Collen Clynch (Kevin), Susan Belton, and John Belton (Penny).

Ronald's journey was eased by the compassionate care of the hospice staff, for which his family remains deeply grateful.

Ron was the son of Frank Belton and Margaret Malone and was a cherished brother to Eileen Reade (deceased) and Ted Belton (deceased). He was a beloved grandfather to Ryan, Justin, Dani, Greg, Christy, Kevin, Lou, Dillon, Lyndon, Grady, Sean, Spencer, Michael, Tia and Liv and a great-grandfather to Ella, Jack, Hannah, Auston, Quincy, Owen, Grace, and Cooper. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Thursday, October 26th from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street, Port Perry on Friday, October 27th at 12:00noon. In his 81st year- Passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 4, 2023, with Bev- his loving wife of 42 years by his side.

First born to Art & Gert Thompson.

Born in Toronto, Ontario. Raised in Ajax/Pickering area. Rick was a big brother to 7 siblings- Survived by his sisters Ruth, Eleanor (Chuck), and Carolyn (Garth). As well as his sister Shirley’s husband Mike.

Predeceased by his siblings Ruby (Roy), Shirley, Jack, and Infant Brother David. Forever missed by his children David, Bryan (Zorina), Dawn (Dino); Kelley & the late Karyn. Grandchildren Brad, Eden, Naia, Lio, Brandyn, Patrick, and Jayden.

His many Nieces and nephews- As well as many friends Rick made throughout his life spanning as far back as his teenage years.

Rick was a truck driver for 50 years; Over half his life he was dedicated to his career. Starting his days at 2am, he would pick-up and deliver wood shavings for chicken and horse farms out of Combermere, or water softener salt to Culligan’s and Canadian Salt. As well as transporting salt to Weston Bakery.

He drove many a mile from Goderich on a daily basis. He loved what he did, but he loved his Peterbilt the most. Rick's favourite colour was blue.

Those who wish to celebrate his memory and wear his favourite colour are invited to do so at his celebration of life.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration Gathering will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00am – 2:00 pm.
