Daniel Patrick Keere

August 20, 1953 – January 25, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel Patrick Keere at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the age of 71.

Daniel was the beloved husband of Margaret for 51 wonderful years. He was a much-loved father to Laura Keere (Mike Fright) and Eric Keere (Sarah) and a cherished Poppa to Cullen, Ronan, Anneliese, Ethan, Genevieve, Ella, and Eamon. He will also be deeply missed by his faithful pup, Princeton.

Aileen Margaret Kirchsteiger (Worley)

May 2, 1933 - November 29, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen Margaret Kirchsteiger (Worley) at the age of 91, who passed away peacefully at her home in Whitby on Friday, November 29th, 2024. Aileen was predeceased by her beloved husband Helmut. She is the loving mother of Deborah Hilton (Ian), Lisa Charbonneau, and Michael Stead (Lisa), and was predeceased by her daughter Angela Henwood. Aileen was a proud grandmother to Erin, Kylie, Stefan, Michael, Sean, Jordin, Colin, and Connor, and a cherished great-grandmother to Paige, Taylor, Maisy, Nathan, Joel, and Rose. She was also predeceased by her sisters Gloria McMullen and Audrey Kelly.

Eugene Kennedy

May 16, 1958 – November 3, 2024

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Hughie (Gene) Kennedy on November 3, 2024. Hughie was predeceased by his mother, Florence, his father, Hughie, his sister Alice, and his sister-in-law Beverly. He leaves to mourn his brother Pat and his sisters Elaine (Pius), Marilyn (Randy), Jean (Rene), Sharon (Bruce), and Valerie (Brian). Hughie will be deeply missed by all of his nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many good friends.

Hughie worked for Toyota Canada for 41 years, where he built lasting friendships and shared countless humorous stories with his co-workers. His vibrant personality and warm heart will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Hughie’s life will take place in Bishop’s Falls, NL, in the summer of 2025. Further details will be shared at a later date.

Helen Krajewski

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen Krajewski, who passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2024. Helen was a cherished member of our family and community, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering generosity.

Born on August 28th, 1943, in Austria, Helen was the daughter of Zofia and Stephen Kummar, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in England and moved to Canada in 1969, where she pursued a career in real estate and the automotive industry. Helen’s dedication to her family and her work left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Sabrina and Elizabeth; her grandson, Stephen; and her sister, Wanda (Andrzey), and brother, Joseph (Jeannie). She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Nicole. Helen will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Johanna (Kwame), Mark, Jackie (Lance), Jennifer (Mathew), and as a beloved great-aunt to Elijah, Ethan, Etienne, Charlotte, Lily, Chloe, Penny, and Zofia, who will forever cherish her memory. Helen's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A private funeral Mass will be held for the immediate family. Helen will be laid to rest at Mount Lawn Cemetery in Whitby, Ontario. In honour of her remarkable life, friends and family are invited to light a candle in her memory or make a donation to a charity of their choice.

Jozefa Krasinski

October 31, 1929 - October 31, 2024

Jozefa Krasinski peacefully passed away with her daughter by her side on October 31, 2024, at the age of 94.

Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Edmund. Cherished mother of Regina Elliott and her husband Stephen, and the late Halina Skirrow and her husband Walter. Adored Babcia of Andrew, Matthew, Kathryn, and Stephanie, and proud Prababcia of Ozzy and Wells. Predeceased by her siblings in Poland: Stanislaw Gorczynski, Maksmylian Gorczynski, and Danuta Bunka. Lovingly remembered by her family in Poland.

Jozefa immigrated to Canada in 1959 but always missed her beloved Poland and the family and friends she left behind. She was devoted to her faith, the Catholic Church, and the Polish community in Oshawa. Jozefa loved to sing and was a dedicated choir member at St. Hedwig’s Church, as well as an active member of the church’s Rosary Society. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who took pride in her family, loved cooking, and spent countless hours tending to her beautiful perennial garden.

Please join with the family at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Wednesday, November 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for visitation. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Hedwig’s Polish Catholic Church on Thursday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
