Suddenly, at his home in Oshawa, on Monday, December 30, 2024, Alan Stuart Plummer passed away at the age of 81. Alan was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Tamblyn) for 57 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Laura Parkes (Sarah), Kristen Dewhirst, and Mark (Candace). Alan was the proud and adoring Grandpa of Josie and Rosie.
Survived by his sisters Carol Holdstock (Oliver) and Margaret Miner (Paul), Alan will also be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cherished fur babies, Jasper and Peaches. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Alan's legacy and the profound impact he had on those around him.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cyril "Skip" Pothier, who passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Port Perry Place, at the age of 82. Skip was a beloved husband to the late Doreen (nee Yates) (2015) and a loving father to Michael Pothier of Port Perry.
Skip will be fondly remembered by his sister Marie, her late husband Patrick Connors of Nova Scotia, and the late Anita and her husband Terry LeBlanc of New Brunswick. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and cherished memories shared with family and friends.

Donna is survived by her cherished children Bradd (Nancy), Gregg (Patricia), Todd (Susan), and Jill (John); her beloved grandchildren Jason (Karen), Christopher, Courtney (Michel), Heather, Matthew (Arissa), Jennifer (Brock), Nathaniel (Hanan), Leigh-Anne (Ben), David, Samuel (Erin), Jacob, Cody, Jordan, Kyle (Amber), Cara (Brad), and Kelsey; great-grandchildren Aiden, Braiden, Reanna, Cody, Mavis, Kendra, Alyssa, Connor, Madeleine, Alexandre, Grace, Jaxon, Eleanor, Maise, Max, and Graham; and great-great-grandchild Nova-Lynne. Donna is also lovingly remembered by her nieces Debbie and Terrylee.
Donna faced life's challenges with grace, intelligence, and kindness. She adored her family and close friends, even as Alzheimer’s disease gradually limited her ability to express her affection in her later years. Her spirit, love, and wisdom remain with those who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mojeed, Sarah, and Ashley from VHA, and Christine from Ontario Health atHome, as well as the compassionate personal support workers from Paramed and CBI, including Renata, Maria, Cherrylynne, Afsana, Chanti, Jessica, Jill, Tobin, Charlene, and Irina. Your care allowed Donna to remain in her beloved family home with dignity and comfort.

Marguerite Hilda Popko passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at Age Care Samac in Oshawa at the age of 96. Born in Stretford, Manchester, England, she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Elliot and the late Phyllis Gunn.
Marguerite was predeceased by her devoted husband, Stanley Popko, in 2015 after 66 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her loving children, Zofia (Jeff), Jan (Pat), and Conrad (Suzanne). Marguerite and Stanley shared a passion for travel and spent many cherished years at their beloved cottage on Moira Lake in Madoc, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
The Popko family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, PSWs, and staff at Lakeridge Health and Age Care Samac residence for their care and compassion during Marguerite’s final journey.
In keeping with Marguerite’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no visitation or formal funeral service will be held. A private family gathering will be held to honor her memory.

Loretta was a dear sister to Lorne (Evelyn) and Lyne (the late Harvey).
She was predeceased by her mother, Eileen Manning, and her sister, Roberta. Loretta will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
