1987 - 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful sweet girl Lisa.
After her courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024 at the age of 36.
Beloved daughter to Brian and Betty. Sister to Stephanie.
Adored Auntie to Shyan and Jahmai. She will be greatly missed by her Grandma D, Papa (Deceased), Granda and Nanny (Deceased).
She will forever be remembered by her extended family, friends and the many lives she touched.
Lisa grew up in Pickering Village, Ajax Ontario.
Lisa attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic School and later Archbishop Dennis O’Connor Catholic High School always striving for excellence.
After graduating, Lisa worked at the Ministry of Government Services (Service Ontario) and later at the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (Emergency Health Services Branch) as an Administrative assistant.
Even as she struggled with her own health she would ask others “how is your day going?”. She was truly a beautiful soul with a smile that could light up a room.
When facing her battle with cancer she showed us strength and courage she herself was unaware she was capable of.
She powered through every complication and setback that was thrown her way. Her last advice to her beloved niece and nephew Shyan and Jahmai was “never give up”.
Lisa not only spoke the words, she showed us all what perseverance and resilience look like.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Sinai Hospital, The Princess Margaret Hospital or to the Toronto General Hospital.
Brian and Betty would like to express their gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff for their care and compassion throughout Lisa’s journey.
As per her wishes, Lisa has donated corneal tissue that will benefit two people through the Trillium Gift of Life. A truly beautiful legacy that highlights her generous and giving nature.
