Wally passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

His unwavering commitment to his family and his vibrant spirit of humour and hospitality touched the lives of all who knew him.

Wally moved with his family to Canada, from Doha, Qatar, last summer and was enjoying reconnecting with his loyal groups of friends and family.

He spent a better part of 22 years in the Middle East and the Seychelles, working in some of the most prestigious hotels in the world. In the past two decades, he circumnavigated the globe, visiting countries on four continents. He was a consummate host, gathering people for food, laughs and good times wherever he resided.

He could surprise you with his stories and bold laugh and yet he was one of the easiest people to be with in the room.

He made you feel welcomed and appreciated but with a wicked sense of humor and a penchant for practical jokes that would leave you laughing with tears in your eyes.

Though he is no longer with us, he will continue to resonate in our stories and shared memories. His spirit carries on in his clever and delightful daughter.

Rest in peace, Wally, your love is cherished by those who were fortunate to have known you.
