Lorriane Margaret Pogue
Passed away on Friday November 3rd, 2023 in her 83rd year.
Mother to Steven (Judy predeceased), Daryl (Lynn), Diane (Bruce), John (Michelle), Lorne Jr, Danny and Baby Eric (predeceased).
Grandmother (Lovingly called Gram) to Daryl, Tammy, Amanda, Christopher, Jennifer, Sarah, Rebecca, Lea, Johnathan, Thomas, Mathew and Emily. And Great Grandma to 26 great grandchildren.
Lorriane was a force of nature. She was loved by all who knew her and known as Gram to many. Her life was full of passion and heartache, she was strong willed and never let it keep her down.
For a ton of regret never makes an ounce of difference. Lorriane will be truly missed by her family and friends.
A viewing service to say farewell will be held Monday November 13th, 2023 at Newcastle Funeral Home from 11 am to 2 pm. Sharing of memories will be taken place at 1 pm.
Linda Jane Godfrey
Passed away peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on Sunday November 5th, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel William Godfrey.
Dear mother of Tammy (Jesse) Bennett and Martin (Cathy) Godfrey.
Loving grandmother of Madison, Sierra, Alyssa & Hunter. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, in laws, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday November 9th from 10 – 11 am. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment Bethesda Cemetery.

Lloyd Martin
OCTOBER 29, 1930 – OCTOBER 31, 2023
Lloyd passed peacefully on October 19, 2023, after a short stay at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville just days prior to celebrating his 93rd Birthday.
He was born on October 29, 1930; the last surviving child of Eugene and Mildred.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary of 71 years and will be reunited with his predeceased siblings; Ernest (Dorothy), Raymond, Madeline (Charles) and Robert (Florence).
He was a dedicated father to sons; Eric (Patricia) and Glenn (Mary); and supportive of his grandchildren; Michelle (Vincent), Sean, and great-grandchildren: Shaiden, Mikaya, Kai and Amiah.
He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Lloyd had a passion for sports, particularly hockey, and if he was not at the arena supporting his sons, he could be found in front of the television supplying enthusiastic criticism towards the players.
He was a hard worker whether it was at General Motors for forty years or just working in the garden to provide food for his family and friends.
He will be fondly remembered by his fellow church members while helping at Faith United Church or his volunteer work at St. Vincent’s Kitchen.
There will be a Memorial Service at Faith United Church in Courtice followed by a reception on November 10th at 11:00 AM.

Suddenly passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of Patrick for 52 years.

Ludmilla retired after teaching for many years at the Durham District School Board.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully, while listening to his favourite music artists, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 90.
Lawrence will be reunited with his beloved wife Helen, and their dog Boo.
