Theodore (Ted) Sebastian Vanderlann
MARCH 25, 1955 – NOVEMBER 1, 2022
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1 at the age of 67, surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of Ruth for nearly 40 years.
He was exceptionally proud of his children, Joseph (Laree) and Anna (Luke), who will miss him deeply. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Rob (Vera) and his many nieces and nephews.
Ted was born in Oshawa, Ontario and learned the value of hard work from an early age from his parents Sebastian and Anna.
He was a proud alumnus of Queen’s University where he earned an MBA before embarking on a successful 37-year career in the banking industry. Throughout his career, Ted earned the deep respect of colleagues and clients.
Of the many places where Ted travelled in his life, his cottage on Pencil Lake was his favourite.
He will be remembered there in each sunset over the water.
Ted had a gift for keeping in touch with relatives and friends overseas. His loss will be keenly felt by his family and the great many friends around the world who will miss his bear hugs.
Visitation will take place at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W. Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Thursday, November 10 from 5 - 8 PM.
A funeral will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Dr, Whitby on Friday, November 11 at 10:30 AM, followed by a reception.

July 24, 1931 - October 26, 2022
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at home, at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale.
Loving mother of John and Maria (Gino).
Devoted Nonna of Leonardo and Assunta (Tommy).
Teresa will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Special thank you to her team of health care professionals, her doctor and personal support workers that were attentive to her well-being and assisted in her care.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Thomas Dean Seton
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Thomas Dean Seton, in his 101st year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on the morning of Thursday, October 20th, 2022.
Beloved husband of the late Elsie for 67 wonderful years (2011).
Loving father of Anna (late Robert), Russell (Norma), and predeceased by Thomas Richard.
Devoted grandfather of Rob (Marilou), Todd, Dean, Brent, Tommy, and Julie.
Great grandfather of Mariah, Robinson, Sierra, Trent, and Cole.
Thomas was born and raised in Oshawa and enjoyed a productive sales career with Canada Bread and thirty-one years as an Agent with the London Life Insurance Company.

Ted (Edwin Ross Jr) Drew
May 25, 1949 – October 22, 2022
Dad left us peacefully, after a long illness, at the age of 73.
A magnetic, warm personality, Ted brought life to every room, treating everyone with genuine care, interest, and his characteristic humour.
First in his heart is his wife of 46 years, Gisèle (née Ménard).
Ted and Gisèle raised 3 children in their love-filled home: Joe (Lisa), Kathleen, and Emily Blake (Rob).
Ecstatic to become a grandfather to Emily and Rob's children Landen and Ryan, Ted was in his element as Papa, playing and laughing, caring and loving.
His love of the outdoors was displayed in his constant presence on the front porch of the house he raised his family in, a house filled with so much love he built an extension to fit it all in.
Ted was mighty in presence, if not stature. Raised by the late Ross (Edwin Ross Sr) and Marion Drew (née Whittaker) on Lasalle Court with his siblings Brian (Sue), Alan, Liz Hance (Mike), and predeceased by John, Ted became known as Uncle Tiger Monster to his many nieces and nephews.
A French teacher for more than 30 years, Ted's classrooms were recognized as joyful and enlightening by all of Donevan and O'Neill's students; even those who hated the subject raved about Monsieur Drew. His zeal for teaching extended beyond the classroom, building leaders in Student Council and crafting campers in the Outers Club.
Ted's craftsmanship also extended to woodworking, and the wood furniture (Tedrewood) he built for his loved ones, often with his father-in-law Leo, is displayed and used with pride to this day.

Terrance Blair “Bear” Morrell
September 18, 1987 – October 15, 2022
Born in Saint John, N. B.
Terry is the cherished son of Leah Wood and Scott Green.
Terry was a very caring and passionate person, he loved to cook and was an avid Star Wars fan. He also loved animals of all kinds.
When Terry was around you, you knew, as he always loved to joke around and have fun.
Survived by step-father Wayne Wood, step-mother Andrea Colpitts, brother Andrew Green, sister-in-law Kristina, step-sister Melissa & Ryan.
As well as grandparents Elizabeth Hachey, Sandra Gommer, Arthur Green and Murray & Marion Colpitts.
Terry will also be missed by his several nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles, and cousins.
Pre deceased by grandmother Irene Green, grandfather Roy Morrell, and two of his uncles: Tony Piercey and Dana Morrell.

Tom was an enterainter and very artistic, he loved to sing, play his guitar and draw.

Passed peacefully on September 18, 2022 at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa in her 96th year.
She was predeceased by her dear husband Clarence and her eldest son Harold.
She is survived by her daughters Elaine (Philip), Cathy (Gunter), her son Gary (Pat) and daughter-in-law Linda.
Grandmother of Mark, Michael, Sarah, Laura, Jenny, Jeff, Teri, Chris R., Chris T., David and Jeremy.
Great grandmother of Rylee, Nick, Ally, Zack, Vivienne, Julien, Brad, Marcy, Sydney, Rachael, Tristan and MỹLá.
Theresa was a talented musician, playing both piano and guitar.
She loved to bake and enjoyed spending time playing euchre with family and friends.
She was a strong woman dedicated to her family and community.
She was an active member of the Catholic Women's League.
Religion has always served to strengthen and mold her character.
She will be missed dearly but has left many lasting memories for those who loved her.
Visitation will be held at St. Carthagh's Catholic Church, 153 Hungerford Road, Tweed on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10 - 11am. Funeral Mass - 11:00am. Interment St. Carthagh's Cemetery to follow.
