Father of Judy Avis (Keith), Thomas Forsythe (Sue); Grandfather of Matthew, Christine and Kerry; Great Grandfather of Abigail, Jackson and Austin.

Age 46, of Courtice, Ontario passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Thao was born June 3, 1975 in Cam Ranh, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam to Trinh Thi Cuc and Pham Van Trang.
Thao is survived by her spouse, Tran Minh Phu; her daughter Sophia Tran Dieu Van; her father Pham Van Trang and her mother Trinh Thi Cuc.
A visitation for Thao will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, Ontario L1E 2R7. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
A cremation service will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, Ontario L1N 3K4.

April 27th, 1935 - May 12th, 2022
It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Joe Finn, in his 88th year.
Joe passed at home at the house he built 55 years ago for the love of his life, Gladys (nee Dufty) d. 2010, to whom he was married for 50 years.
He was born in Millbrook to Maurice Finn and Veronica Marren.
He was the beloved brother of Marcella (Gord), Marie (Bill), Maurice - DC (Verona), Basil - Mickey (Elaine) and survived by his sister Anne (Ken).
He was the proud father of Marcy (Doug), Janette (Randy) Drew and Shawn (Jenny).
He was the proud Poppa of Colin (Hailey), Matt (Cass), Curtis (Katie) Brianna (Greg), Colton (Kim), Micaela (Jessie), Mitchell, Tristen (Madie), Luke (Grace). Joe was also the celebrated Great Poppa to Cooper, Cadence and Carla.
Joe always made time for a good visit. He enjoyed his daily visits with Ken and Ivan.
He was blessed to have a loving extended family who called and visited frequently.
He had an infectious smile that brightened the lives of everyone who knew him! He will be missed by his loving dog companion Murphy.

Terrance Thomas Ryan
May 17, 1937 – March 28, 2022
It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Terry Thomas Ryan on March 28th, 2022.
Terry leaves behind his wife Colleen of 61 years and his three sons Steve (Darnelle) of Newcastle, Mike (Lynn) of Courtice, and Al (Tammy) of Woodstock, who were his pride and joy.
He will be missed by his grandchildren, Luke, Emily, Daniel, Spencer, Katie, Kylie, and Ben and by his great-grandson Brooks, and by his many nieces and nephews.
Terry was predeceased by his parents, his brother Paul, and his sisters, Ellen Krysinski, Jean Brown, and Claire MacDougall.
Terry was born in Kirkland Lake on May 17th, 1937 to Tom and Bertha (Ramsey) Ryan.
He grew up in the Ottawa Valley, where he met and married the love of his life, Colleen Morris, in 1960.
After moving to the Oshawa area in the late 60s, he spent 37 years working as an electrician for G.M.
Terry loved his cars, his ATVs and spent many hours up at his beloved tree-farm on his tractor.
Terry loved people and enjoyed good conversation. He had a knack for recalling names, dates, and events and he had a genuine interest in knowing how you were doing.
Terry was an avid Leafs fan and passed on his love for hockey to his sons, and to his grandchildren and spent hundreds of hours cheering them on in cold arenas.
He also had a strong sense of community and was active in his parish and in the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Monday, April 4th, from 4:00- 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH (3800 Courtice Road. North) on Tuesday, April 5th, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de paul in memory of Terry.
