Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 shortly after 9:00 p.m. at 85 years of age.

Beloved husband of Grace for 66 years.

Devoted father of Mary Anne and Robert (Charissa).

Loving Grampa of Melanie (Jon), Shawn, Alex and Katy.

Predeceased by his brother Jack. Bill will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.

Bill worked for Bell Canada for 31 years and spent a year working in Saudi Arabia.

He was a former member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, after retiring from Bell he worked as Real Estate Agent for Frank Real Estate and he was also a previous broadcaster with CKLB/CKQT.

Bill was an Elder with Cedar Dale United Church and a previous Elder with Albert Street United Church. He was also a Chaplin at Lakeridge Health Corporation – Oshawa.

Bill enjoyed cruising and spending winters in Florida with his wife and family.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, October 11th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 12th at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Keyzers on October 2, 2022 in his 90th year.

He will be so greatly missed as a beloved and loyal husband of 66 years to Ricki; amazing dad to Dorothy (Tim) and Frank (predeceased); wonderful Opa to Candace (Ryan) and their daughters Sophie and Calie, and step Opa to Ben (Nicola) and son Luca, Amy and daughters Evy and Nevaeh, Elise and daughters Elizabeth and Isabelle; dear sister to Marjory and predeceased brothers John, Peter and Tony.

He will also be greatly missed by his extended family, nieces and nephews and dear friends. Bill was born in Deurne, The Netherlands to Guillaume and Dora Keyzers.

He first worked on a farm in Grossle Isle, north of Winnipeg and then decided to settle in Uxbridge in March 1955. Bill was married on October 13, 1956 to Ricki Janssen, also a native of the Netherlands.

They met at the Roxy Theatre in Uxbridge. They raised two children Dorothy and Frank.

Frank’s life tragically ended at the age of 16. Bill will be remembered and deeply missed for his dedication and provision as a husband, father and Opa, his hard work and intellect, love of people and loyalty to his community. Many, many thanks to Drs. Patricia Wong and Spencer Chau for above and beyond personal care and Home and Community Care Health services, especially the nurses for their tender guidance and care.

Visitation will be at Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge on Thursday, October 6 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at Sacred Heart Parish Church on Friday, October 7 at 11:00 am. Internment to follow.

Donations to the Uxbridge Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul or Uxbridge Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William Arthur Alcock, fondly known as “Bill” who passed away at the age of 83, on September 30, 2022.

Bill passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Bill was born in Stockport England in April 1939 the only child of the late Beatrice and Fred Alcock and stepson to Frank Wood.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Ann (nee Robinson) of 55 years.

Bill was a proud father of 4 children, Kevin (Bonnie Harrison), Karen, Kimberly, and Kathryn (Winston Browne).

A loving Grandpa to Evan, Aaron, Owen and Orlando. He is also survived by sister-in-law Lana Clark (nee McGurk) and predeceased brother-in-law Marvin Clark, his nieces Deborah Clark Rust (Dan and Abigail) and Heather Clark.

Bill also enjoyed photography and watching Star Trek. Mostly, he cherished time spent with his family, playing with his grandchildren and sharing stories.

Bill always showed a great sense of humor and kind heart. He will be affectionally missed and remembered by family and friends.

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Wayne peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by the love of his wife, daughter, granddaughters and son in law.

Predeceased by his only son David (Toni), Son in law Chris Kyles (Deneane), Father Alex Sr, Mother and step father Mary & Earl Mitchell, sister Judi Hache, and brother Perry.

Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Bell).

Loving brother to Alex & his wife Sharon, Best Buddy to Terry Smith & his wife Susan. Cherished daddy of Deneane Kyles (Brad Cameron).

Wayne was so proud of his granddaughters and was a fun-loving papa to Kaela Grozelle (Mike) and Kayce McFaul (Skyler). No one could be more proud then he was of his 5 great grandchildren CJ, Callan, Jaxon, Parker and Audrina – papa will never be forgotten.

Wayne will also be sorely missed by his daughter in law Toni and David`s stepdaughters Jessica (Al), Nicki (Mike), Angela (Jason) and grandchildren Zoe, Jace, Gio & Nixon.

His laughter and shenanigans will be greatly missed by his in-laws Kathie & Leonard MacDougall, Ted & Mary Pullen, Bill & Deborah Pullen and nephews & nieces Dale Hache, Mike & Maggie MacDougall (Ella) Ian MacDougall (Liam) Chad & Sarah Pullen (Reid & Landon) Samantha & Eric Muir (Jackson, Paige & Terry). Wayne is also survived by his step-mother Phyllis.

Arrangements with the McEachnie Family Centre, Ajax. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be at a later date.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Wilf Marshall in his 84th year on September 23, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Wilf leaves behind his loving wife Diane of 55 years and his children Kelley (Jason) and Doug (Seta).

He was a much loved and adored "hockey" Grampa to Riley (Kennedy) and Noah (Taylor).

He also leaves behind extended family and friends including some lifelong ones. He never lost his love for the railway especially steam engines and his time at CNR.

Family was the most important thing to Wilf.

Mechanic of 50 years, he could fix any issue and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone he knew.

He always had a joke and a smile in hand.

He loved golfing, betting proline and the horse races and cooking amazing meals for his family.
