Beloved wife of the late Peter.

Loving mother of Gary (Linda), the late Paul (Janice), and David (Eva).

Cherished grandmother of Melanie (Andrew), Chris, Jamie (Melissa), David (Lorraine), Bonnie (Pete), Erin (Phil), and Jeff (Michelle) and great-grandmother of Aiyan, Maia, Paige, Alex, Emily, Will, Clayton, Tyler, Xavier, Zoe, Quest, Serenity, Adelyn, Paige, and Sienna.

Heartfelt thank you to all of the staff of Hillsdale Estates, Blueberry Lane for their dedicated care and compassion.

As per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation will take place with no formal service.

Beloved wife to Ray (Predeceased 2018) for 55 years. Cherished mom to Shelly (Lynn predeceased) and Rob (Jennifer).

Much loved grandma to Amanda (Jesse), John (Kathleen), Crystal (Hayden), Chelsea (Jeremy), Courtney (Cole), Alyssa (Zack), Amee, Reece, Violet, Whitney and Grace Ray. Survived by her sister Carolyn Gilmer (Phil predeceased).

Doris will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by her niece Kim, nephews Blaine, Ken, Doug and Dan. Fondly remembered by all of her family and friends.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you for the love and care of the past five years to the 2nd floor staff at Hope Street Terrence. Also the last few weeks with the 2A staff at Cobourg Hospital keeping mom comfortable.

Friends and family are invited to Newcastle Funeral Home for visitation on Friday October 20th from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Service will take place in the Funeral Home on Saturday October 21st at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Newtonville.

Peacefully on October 13, 2023 at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Doug left us to be reunited with his wife of more than 50 years, Phyllis.

Doug's joy of life, sense of humour and infectious personality will be missed immensely by daughter Karen (Brad Bird, sons Connor and Hayden) Lawrence (Tracy Spear) grandson's Liam and Brody, nephew Neill (Jennifer Clark) Brandon and Kyla.

A postman for 30 years, soccer player, golfer and storyteller.

The sun will shine a little less bright in our world without Doug in it.

Friends may call at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Thursday October 19, 2023 from 5-8 pm.

A Celebration of Doug’s Life will take place in the Chapel on Friday October 20 at 11 am followed by interment.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Douglas Graham Renwicke on October 7th, 2023 (His 70th birthday) after a courageous battle with blood cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife Julie, daughters Lindsay and Stacey, Son in law Ben, Grandchildren Logan and Henleigh and loving dog Wesley.

Caring brother to Don and Jan (Gord). Doug met his high school sweetheart, Julie, in Scarborough Ontario when they were 15 years old.

His heart and soul was always his family who whom he was fiercely protective of.

Doug loved his grand kids and was a hugely proud Gramps. His love for his daughters was limitless but the biggest love story of his life was the passion and admiration he carried for his wife Julie for 55 years. Doug... Dad... Gramps... You will be missed but always remembered and forever loved.

Brant was born August 12, 1963, in Ajax Ontario Brant is predeceased by his parents Merretta Wallace, Gordon Robinson. Sister Lynn Leu & Nephew Jason Leu.

He will be missed by his daughters of the heart Courtney Schwemier (Johnathan), Dana Abrahams, Grand Children Tyler & Nathan.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Deanna Marie Duthie on Sunday, October 1st, 2023.

After a 2 year battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at Oshawa General Hospital.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband David, cherished daughter Sarah, and loving sister Janice Catalfo.

Deanna was predeceased by her parents Kay and Ralph Keefe (Barb) and her brother Sean.

She will be greatly missed by her in-laws Christine Keefe, Edith Duthie, William Duthie (Tammy), Pauline Keating (James), Thomas Duthie (Michelle), Stephen Duthie (Angie), Edward Duthie (Lisa).

She will lovingly be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and numerous friends.

Deanna was born on October 4th at Scarborough General Hospital. She grew up in Scarborough, then moved to Ajax in 1974 where she married and resided. She enjoyed gymnastics and track and field as a teenager.

Graduated from York University and her final workplace was with the Town of Ajax.

She enjoyed long drives with her husband David and daughter Sarah, one of their favourite places being Niagara Falls. She loved to travel, one of her happy places being PEI, to see family.

She will fondly be remembered by everyone who knew her as being kind and generous, always there to listen and lend a hand. She had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to laugh.

Loving wife of the late Ronald Richards. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Bob and Faye Richards of Trenton, Ontario, and dear mother of the late Doug and Neil Richards.

Beloved grandmother of Tanya Grant, Courtice, ON; Rebecca Vilniff, Oshawa, ON; and Kelli Richards of Montreal, PQ. Dear great grandmother of Wyatt and Jaden Grant, and Maddy Richards.

Loving great great grandmother of Emma and Alinna Grant.

Dorothy Loved spending time with her family, grandkids, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She loved to cook and also enjoyed restaurants, her favourite being Red Lobster.

She liked sitting on the porch chatting with us all and enjoyed the outdoors and her beautiful flowers and trees. She was an active member of the Legion's Ladies Auxiliary and well loved and respected in the community. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 11, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at Morris Funeral Chapel 4 Division St., Bowmanville), with a service in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 11 at 12:30PM, followed by interment.

In loving memory of Dale Gloria Elizabeth Austin, born on January 9, 1940, in Orillia, Ontario, and who peacefully passed away on September 28, 2023, in Oshawa, Ontario.

Dale was a devoted mother to Glenn Davies and Lisa Sikora, and a cherished grandmother to Cassidy Babcock, Camielle Davies, and Gavin Davies.

Her legacy also includes the joy of being a proud great-grandmother to Everley, Jordyn, and Grayson Babcock, and Miriam Davies.

Predeceased by her mother, Ruby Colbourne, and her brother, Ted Colbourne, Dale is survived by her brothers Doug Colbourne and Bryan Colbourne, and her sisters Faith Lowman and Joanne McNab.

Having enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate, Dale was known for her independence and zest for life.

She embraced various hobbies, from sewing and painting to golfing, curling, Pickle Ball, and even downhill skiing. Dale, a nature enthusiast, found solace in gardening and cherished boat rides in cottage country.

Her quiet introspection and love for family and friends defined her essence. Dale's absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, October 12th, from 9:30 am until time of Celebration of Life in the chapel at 10:30 am.
