It is with great sadness the family of William (Richard) Flitton announces his peaceful passing at the age of 92.
Predeceased by his wife of 41 years Barbara Edith (nee Beattie) (2002) and his daughter Kathyrn Ann (1967).
Survived by his loving children David, John and Jennifer.
He also had a special place in his heart for The Reverend Dawn Gilby.
Witness to 11 decades, Dad grew up in rural England. As a child, he had a love for bicycling and a deep fascination for all types of planes. He turned that fascination into earning his private pilot's license in 1977 at age 48.
A devoted Blue Jays fan, he followed them from their first pitch in 1977 to Spring Training 2022.
His was a simple life well-lived. We miss you already Dad.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 8th from 10am to Noon at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME , 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby. A private graveside service to follow.

Surrounded by family Werner passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on April 4th, 2022 in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Melnick) for 63 wonderful years.
Loving father of Michelle Landry (Mike Griffiths) and Mike Derzbach (Margo).
Cherished Opa of Brittany (David Della Fazia), Holly Landry and Steffanie Derzbach.
Dear brother of Erik Derzbach and Siglinda, both of Germany. Werner left Germany as a young man with very few possessions and set out to make a life for himself in Canada.
A gifted precision tool and die maker by profession, he was a very hard working man who enjoyed nature and everything it offered on his 10 acre property.
He and Dorothy started a hobby farm and created bountiful gardens on the land that gave them both great pleasure.
They also enjoyed many memorable trips to the Caribbean and Florida over the years, often inviting his grandchildren to fly down and enjoy the sun and beaches with them.
Werner was very much a family man who adored his wife, children and grandchildren as well as the many dogs that he raised over the years.
Thank you to the numerous staff members at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville who looked after him over the past few weeks as he fought valiantly to regain his health, your efforts are appreciated.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville, on Saturday April 9th, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm. No Service will be held.

1962 - 2022
Loving father and retired signal engineer for Toronto Terminal Railway, William “Bill” John Willett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 59.
Bill worked hard from a young age to excel at his profession and support his family.
He proudly retired at age 53 to enjoy his life to the fullest.
It is clear to everyone who knew him that his favourite activity of all was spending time with his family.
Bill is remembered always by his family; daughter Trinity, son-in-law Emil, brother Ross (Cheryl) and is predeceased by his niece, Kelsey.
Bill was loved unconditionally by his sister Ruth (Joe), and was an adoring uncle to Elizabeth, Katie, and Amanda.
He will remain a cherished member of the family to Amber, and Grandpa Bill to Chloe and Piper.
He lives on in the memories of his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be hosted by McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering Village. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, April 7 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 8th, interment at Erskine Cemetery. Reception to follow (details TBD)

1964 – 2022
With family by his side, Bill passed away at Bowmanville Hospital on March 31st, 2022.
Predeceased by his parents June Rennie and William Grady Sr.
Beloved brother of Elizabeth (Paddy), Catherine (Derrick), Heather (Michael), Michael (Lori) and Deborah.
Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Many heartfelt thanks to the staff at the ACT Team CMHA Durham, for their care and support over the years, and to Dr. Soares and his nurse Tanya at Bowmanville Hospital.
As per Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at 3 pm followed by a reception from 4 – 6 at Chanterelle Bistro, 33 Division Street Bowmanville.

October 17, 1936 - March 27, 2022
It is with deep sadness that the family of William A. Ross Gammage announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his family on March 27, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Ross enjoyed his 36-year teaching career and his 30 years of retirement.
He will be remembered fondly for his patience and kind, affectionate manner.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Eunice (Pitman); children Darlene (James Moritz), Susan (Dr. James Hadden), and Rob; grandchildren Kathleen, Lauren, Elliot, Jenna, Benjamin and Jocelyn; great-granddaughter Jamie; brothers Robert and Christopher (Erika), as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his sister Ruth and her husband Donald Caines.
He will also be dearly missed by his friends at the Scugog Float Flyers model airplane club.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

1941-2022 William Arthur Tilly, M.D. passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa following a brief illness at 81 years of age.
Born unto parents William Graham and Anna Mariah (nee Knight) Tilly in 1941, William, along with his sister Joyce, always cherished the close bond of family.
Throughout his life, he was a devout Christian and faithfully loved his Lord.
In his younger years, William’s intellect was rarely matched. He was fascinated by science and would often be found gazing at the stars or constructing radios.
Always first in his class, he excelled in his studies at Bloor Collegiate High School. He then continued his education at The University of Toronto, studying medicine.
Following his internship at Toronto East General Hospital (now Michael Garron Hospital), William served his community in East York (Toronto) as a General Medical Practitioner with much dedication and compassion for almost 40 years.
In his senior years, William relocated to Ajax to be closer to his family.
Survived by his beloved sister Joyce and cherished nieces Victoria and Catherine, William now rests and has found peace in the arms of his Lord.
The family will receive guests at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax Ontario, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Norm was a proud Canadian of Irish descent and spent most of his life in the Beaverton area.
He was a very kind and special person with a great sense of humour and a fun-loving nature.
He had an exceptional love for his family.
His joys in life were people and food, especially a buffet.
Norm was known never to shy away from a conversation or a meal! His enjoyment of nature and gardening led him to a lifelong career in the landscaping business, retiring at the “early” age of 90.
Norm was proud to have been married to his cherished wife Mary for almost 63 years before her passing.
Adored father of daughter Debbie (Jim). Loving grandfather of Lindsey (Dan) and Paige (Steve).
He was thrilled being “Great Norman” to his Great-Granddaughter Alexis. Brother of Gordon and late sister Eleanor (Bob).
