It is with heavy hearts the passing of our dear wife to Peter.
Mother to David (Meg); Mickie (Glenn), Tabitha (Jer); grandmother to Michelle, MacKenzie, Jordan, Olivia, Jackson, Charlotte and great grandmother to Isabelle.
Now you are at peace and we take great comfort in knowing. You know What!!! Always and forever loved. We miss you.
Evangeline Mary Roberts
With the song of angels resounding, our dear mother Evangeline has been Promoted to Glory, on August 21, 2022.
Her faith strong and true to the end.
Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Nathan, parents Arthur and Mary Burry, brothers Richard and Doug (Rose), sisters Mona (Aubrey) Burt and Rosalind Watkins and dear grandson Mark Noftle.
Left to mourn is her sister, Gladys (Ross) Wheaton, and sister in law Jean (Richard) Burry.
Also left to mourn are her children Dianne (Bob) Noftle, Kirk (Connie), Kent (Sara), Dean (Brian Aguiar), Dennis, Denise (Mike) Riddell, many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
Mom will be missed by many friends, relatives and her church family.
Mom loved her church, the Salvation Army. A devoted soldier in Whitby since 1965. Playing the organ, leading her Bible studies, Women's Ministries, Christmas Hampers, The Red Shield Appeal, Home League, and much more.
She loved us all. Mom was long suffering. A woman of prayer. Her Bible never out of reach. We, as her children, can rest assured that the Lord has heard our names many times. God bless her.
A very special thank you to her daughter in law Sara, who's love and devotion to our mother was simply, amazing. Sara cared for Mom in the last year with such dignity and grace. They shared a special bond. To her granddaughter Natalie, who filled in at times and never missed a beat. Her strength and loving care, evident. We thank you.
We are grateful for the health care Mom was able to receive at home.
Thank you to Dr. McAllister of the Palliative Care team, the many ParaMed nurses, especially Mona, who always had a calming and cheerful way with Mom.
A special thank you to Mom's PSW Crystal, who bonded with Mom from the start. The care and love for Mom was so touching.

Edward Aru
May 12, 1943 – August 18, 2022
On Thursday, August 18, 2022, Ed passed away on the palliative care floor at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 80th year with his family by his side.
Ed loved his life and his family and friends.
He was very contented with his many accomplishments throughout his life. His soul mate Dianne, married for 54 years, will dearly miss him.
As a father he was so very proud of and cherished his beloved children: John (predeceased) (Cathy), Joanne Balson (John), Jim (Heather), Keaton Morrison (Sean Casey).
They are comforted knowing he is at peace and his spirit is reunited with his beloved son John and other predeceased family members.
He felt highly privileged to have had such amazing grandchildren: Emily and Dorothy Aru, Jack and Stella Balson, Georgia, Slade and Tallinn Aru and Archer Casey.
Ed had many passions in his life. He was instrumental in starting the Oshawa Hawkeyes football club for which he was inducted into the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame; he was a proud member of the Samac Foundation for many years, also an avid enthusiastic fisherman.
The nurturing of his passion is now evident in all his grandchildren.
His great love for winter skiing was almost obsessive and all his children and his grandchildren share in the love for this sport and ski well.
His interest in bird watching is legendary to his grandchildren who are beginning to appreciate this passion.
He loved life and enjoyed socializing with his many friends and relatives.
He will be missed and has left an enviable legacy.
There will be a private celebration of Ed’s life held in the fall.
As a tribute to your friend take some time to celebrate his life in your own special way.
He always loved a wee dram of scotch.
The family wish to thank the Cancer Centre Staff at LHO and 4F Palliative Care staff for the care and compassion they bestowed.
Dr. Gergely, our doctor of many years, has been the finest and most caring person for us in our most difficult times.
She is a tribute to her profession.

Edward Wilson, affectionately known as "BUNSIN" was born in Trinidad and Tobago, to the union of Joseph Thomas Wilson (deceased) and Muriel Agnes (Myers) Wilson (deceased).
Edward passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on Monday August 15th, 2022 at 12:06am with his loving family by his side. Edward was a loving husband to his darling wife, Janice Odette Wilson for over 55 years.
Loving father of Jackie (Kim), Jillian (Warren), Nigel (Natalie), Keith (Mary), Arlene (Joe) and Paul.
