Surrounded by her family, it is with profound sadness that our beloved mother, sister, aunt and great aunt passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 9th, 2022 in her 67th year.

She will also be deeply missed by great nieces and many friends, especially dear friend Cory Welsh.
Wendy was predeceased by her parents Lloyd & Arline Ayre and aunt Audrey Brockman.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Monday February 14th from 5 – 8 pm. Attendance will be limited, if you wish to attend the visitation please contact the funeral home to reserve a space between the hours of 9 – 4. A Family Service will be held, by invitation only on Tuesday February 15th at 11 am.

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Wilma Coombes on February 8th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
Wilma is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rowlie Coombes.
Loving mother of Wayne (Laticha), Gary (Tammy) and Dan (Sharon).
Cherished grandmother of Brianna (Kevin), Spencer (Keith), Mackenzie, Garrett and Aidan and great-grandmother of Penelope, Evelyn and Annabelle.
She will be lovingly remembered by the Richards & Coombes families as well as many friends.
Wilma was a long time member of Trinity United Church, an active participant in the UCW and was often found in the kitchen as part of the catering committee. She was a registered nurse & enjoyed keeping up with her nursing friends. The last number of years she called Bowmanville Creek home and enjoyed the many friends she made there.
A Memorial Service will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 116 Church Street on Saturday February 12th at 2 pm. Attendance will be limited, if you wish to attend, please contact Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, to reserve a space. Double vaccination is required to attend. Cremation will take place with interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.

Walter (Wally) Kiskunas of Pickering, ON, at the young age of 63, passed away peacefully, following a short battle with cancer in Oshawa - Lakeridge Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Beloved husband of the late Sandra Isabelle (nee Hauraney), November 10, 2020.
Predeceased by his father Walter (Vladas), April 12, 2000.
Loving and dear son of Martha. Cherished brother of Colleen. Loving father of Alexis (Debbie), Tara (Frank), and Aaron. Loving uncle of Jason (Audrey). Greyhound Canada honouring Walter for his 35 years of service, 1986-2021.
Walt's dedication to his work as Regional Safety Manager ON/QC was to produce high-quality results.
Walt was devastated with impact on workers and customers when Greyhound was shut down permanently.
May 13, 2021 Walter's passion for music (bass guitar) and his many jam sessions in his full basement studio made him happy.
His commitment and work with Safe Haven Community Church was his joy.
Walt was a devoted loving husband, father, son, uncle, and brother who worked hard all his life to provide for his family. He was a kind and gentle soul who would always help anyone.
Walt will be missed by all of those who were fortunate to be part of his life. We will love you forever. Cremation has taken place and a (livestreamed) memorial service will be held at a later date.

Wilf passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Lakeridge Health in Ajax at the age of 93.
He leaves behind his beloved and adored wife Joan of 72 years.
He will be forever loved and missed by his children Wayne (Jill) and Donna (Bob).
Will be held dear in the hearts of his grandchildren Jason (Katherine) and Ashley, and his great-grandchildren Cara, Auston and Zoe.
Wilf will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister Joan.
Reunited in heaven with his parents Wilfred and Lillian and brother Raymond.
Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 70.

Bill Marlow, loving son of the late William and Agnes (nee Swain) Marlow of Cartwright Township (now Scugog Township).

Predeceased by his wife Nancy, parents Mona and Lawrence Wilkie of Cobourg, mother in law Viola Adair of Newcastle, and siblings Lynn, Donna, Al and John.
Loving father to Donna Bayat (Askar) and Buffy Rodgers (Doug Notton) both of Bowmanville.
Loving Gramps to Abigail Bayat (Kevin Till), Grandpa to Ali and Laila Bayat, doting Poppa to his fur granddaughter Annie, surrogate dad to Virginia Sopher and Natalie (Zeke) Price, And special Friend to Angela King.
Bill's parents were told he wouldn't live past the age of 14 and he beat those Doctors estimate by 60 years.
He was always a fighter. Special thanks to the Code team at Bowmanville Hospital for giving the girls extra time with their daddy, and the amazing Nurses in the Oshawa Critical Care Ward for their dedication and care in Bill's last days.
Thanks to Nancy's family for their love and support, nephew Jay Rodgers (Terri) for his daily check in and to Kayla Summers who nursed Bill's toe lovingly for a year.
Bill wished to have no funeral or celebration of life.
April 6th, 1940 - January 7th, 2022
It is with deep sadness that William (Bill) Hurteau at the age of 81, passed away at The Village of Taunton Mills the morning of January 7th 2022.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate Frances Lynn Hurteau and his children Grant (Mimi) and Krystal (Haron).
He was a cherished grandfather of Devin, Olivia, Roman and Dominik and will be lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.
Bill started working at the Royal Bank of Canada in Kirkland Lake and was transferred to other branches throughout the North.
He eventually retired from Plaza head office as Manager of Investment Industry Banking Retail.
After 39 years in the bank he decided to work at Sears Promenade for nearly 5 years.
He was passionate about sports and coached hockey and baseball. He served a term as General Manager of Goulding Park Arena in North York.
He enjoyed many staycations at Pigeon Lake over the summers and had hobbies of hunting, boating, fishing, golfing, and bowling.
He was always around to give a helping hand and share in laughter by always cracking a joke. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of The Village of Taunton Mills for their care.
A cremation is taking place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home on January 7, 2022.
She was born in Holland to parents Harmanus Bijkerk and Wilhelmina Smit. She was the last survivor of 12 children. Betsy married her husband of 63 years; Meint “Mike” Bergsma in 1945, and emigrated to Canada in 1953.
She will be sadly missed by her sons Andrew and Lester, and daughterd-in-law Helen, Diana and Janet.
She had 6 grandchildren, Kim, Mike, Ashley, Devon, Laurel and Jarrod, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Betsy will also be missed by her brother-in-law Hans Bergsma and all of her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Meint “Mike”, son John and grandson Jarrod Bergsma.
There will be no formal funeral service at this time, but a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
