Tom passed away peacefully, on November 30, 2020, in his 85th year. Devoted husband of 60 years to Gerry, Loving "Paw" to Donna Noyes (Brian), Bob (Julie), and Linda Chapman. Proud Grandfather to Suzanne Gourgouvelis (Justin), and Amanda Curtis.Fun loving Great Grandpa to Victoria, Sophia, Nicholas, and Chloe. Good "Ole" Uncle Tom to many nieces and nephews. Todd will be forever loved and missed by his wife Kim and their four sons Ryan (Samantha), Liam, Joseph (Konstantina) and Noah. 1956 - 2020 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Tantsis at the age of 64.He was also known and lovingly called Tom, Tome, Thomakis, μπαμπά (Baba), Dad, Bratchko, Tomche, Papa Tantsis, and Stupid Scrooge.He lost his long hard battle to Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Tom passed peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 1, 2020.Tom is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Marian and his children Emily and Michael (Lindsay).His mother Emilia and his brothers Christos (Katerina) and George. (February 20, 1945 – October 23, 2020)Terry passed away October 23, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. He fought the complications of a stroke for 13 years.Terry had a 30-year career teaching history at Dr. F.J. Donevan Collegiate in Oshawa. His students experienced his passion for history and politics.Terry was an ardent supporter of the Liberal Party and spent many elections working for candidates in the Oshawa area.He was a member of the Oshawa Rotary Club (former President), Friends of the Library, CLOCA, the Durham Cancer Society, Life Long Learners and he conducted a politics class for several years at the Oshawa Seniors Centre. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Bert and Ruth McCarl.He was the beloved brother of Pam Thompson and her husband Bill. Devoted uncle of Bill (Genevieve), Christy (Perry), Becky (Phil) and Greg (Ashley).
