Predeceased by his brother Marionito (Itoy).

Will be missed by all his family in Canada and the Philippines.

Ernesto, will be remembered for his life long love for bicycles, and as a very caring and giving man.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME on Thursday April 21, 2022 from 4 PM until 9 PM.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday April 22, 2022 at 1:30 PM.

Donations may be made in memory of Ernesto to St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at Bowmanville Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Debbie made her home in Ottawa for many years.

She is survived by her children Ryan Burrett (Julie) and Emily Burrett (Kevin), grandchildren Allyson and Alexander Burrett of Ottawa.

Deb will be sadly missed by her dad, Peter Hamlin and his wife Lois of Oshawa, sister Diane Hollywood (Neil, Sarah and Rachel) of Bowmanville, cousins Linda and Gavin Hamlin of Brockville and other family members living in Ottawa, Vancouver, West Sussex, England and Lanark, Scotland.

Deb was predeceased by her mum Betty, cousin Pete, aunts and uncles George, Irene, Alan and Pat who all made lasting impressions on her life.

Deb was born and raised in Toronto and was a booster of all things Toronto. She loved and followed the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs with immense insight and knowledge.

May the logos of the Jays and Leafs be a reminder of Deb to those who love her and cherish her memory.

A Private Family interment will be held.

After an eleven-year battle with cancer, Erlita passed away on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at Oshawa hospital at the age of 51.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Erlita came to Canada in 1984.

She met her late husband, Jerry Synard in 1996. She was the devoted mother of Rebecca, Sarah, and Bella.

She worked as the office administrator at Carriage County Baptist Church and as a freelance accountant.

She will be fondly remembered by her siblings, nieces, nephews, church family, and many friends.

Funeral service will take place at Carriage County Baptist Church, 4830 Trulls Road, Hampton from 11 a.m. - 1p.m. followed by the Internment at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd at 1:30p.m.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife Margaret of 59 years, and his Son Tom (Diane) and daughter Nancy Colliss; grandchildren Jennifer, Brianna, Kyle and Rachel; dear friend Isabelle Jones; all his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at The Bowmanville Salvation Army Community Church (75 Liberty Street South) from 12pm to 1:30pm, service to follow at 1:30pm.

She is survived by her son Steven, daughters Jennifer and Erin, her son-in-law Troy, daughter-in-law Andrea and her five grandchildren - Mitchell, Beau and Quinn Binnie (Jennifer & Troy), Aiden and Taylor Legge (Steve & Andrea).

She was an active participant in life until she was no longer able – she loved skiing with her children, swimming in the lake, walking her and the family’s dogs and most importantly watching (and cheering loudly at) her grandson’s hockey games.

When indoors, she could often be found with knitting needles in hand or in the kitchen baking up her famous apple crisp.

The family would like to thank the staff at Union Villa for their kindness, dedication, and extraordinary care over the past 10 years.

A private memorial service will take place.

His unmatched human connection, and kindness will be forever missed in our own journeys. Cliff’s strong Christian faith and unwavering commitment to the purpose and presence of St. Andrew’s United Church was both a comfort and a calling for him.

Cliff lived an abundant life of service in his beloved town of Beaverton with community and care at the heart of everything he did and was. As a career paramedic and compassionate caregiver Cliff’s light shone brilliantly for all in an unassuming way. His gift of conversation welcomed strangers, comforted friends and cemented relationships to last a lifetime.

A visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton Ontario on Monday March 28, from 7pm - 9 pm. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday March 29 at St. Andrew’s United Church 523 Simcoe Street Beaverton from 1 -3 pm. Funeral service will follow at St. Andrew’s beginning at 3 pm. We ask that you wear a mask for both indoor settings.
