Shirley Lorraine Mowles
Passed away at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Thursday December 15, 2022.
Cherished wife of Herbert for 65 years.
Loving mother of Diane, Herb (Susan), and James (Linda).
Grandmother of Michelle (Shawn) Zalewski, Jesse (Denise) Mowles, and Martina Hickey (Anthony Fracassa). Great-Grandmother of Jack. Special cousin of Frank (Marg) Coomber.
Pre-deceased by her parents Irene and Wilfred Brown, and by her sister Jackie Wright.
She will be remembered by her nieces Donna and Karen and their families.

Visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Wednesday December 21st from 11a.m until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 3p.m.

Shuk Hing Monica Chan
August 8, 1931 - December 10, 2022
It is with heavy hearts the family announces, Shuk Hing Monica Chan passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough at the age of 91.
She will be forever missed by her children, Eddy (Xiu Jin), Joseph (Annie), and Michelle (Raymond).
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years, Kar Mok Dismas Lai, and their daughters, Pui Fong and Christine.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to all her grandchildren, Simon, Bonnie (Robby), Shirley, Daniel (Valerie), Alexander (Karla), Andrew, Michael (Sheila), Eldon, Fiona, and Samuel (Victoria).
She was also a proud and loving great-grandmother to her four great-grandsons, Atlas, Jacob, Xavier and Varo.
She was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother who loved cooking authentic Chinese food and spending time with her family.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Barnabas Parish, 10 Washburn Way, Scarborough on Saturday, December 17th at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Road, Pickering and reception at Casa Deluz, 1571 Sandhurst Circle, Scarborough.

Stanley P. Wells
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Stan, in his 72nd year, is survived by his beloved wife Gloria (née Debonis).
Cherished father of Jennifer (Paul), Stephanie, Vikki (Ron Pye), and Jason (Amy).
Proud Grandpa of Megan, Matthew (Kyleah), Emma, Mason, Maddin, Jaime, Austin, Eliott, Jude, Calla, and Great-Grandpa of Grayson.
He is survived by his siblings Karen (Peter), Allan, Christine (David), and Kimberly.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Jackie Wells, his brother & best friend John (survived by Robin), and his son-in-law Mike Thom.
Stanley’s was very proud to coach hockey for the Ontario Minor Hockey Association for 17 years, he also coached baseball in Scarborough for many years, his two favourite sports.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21st from 1:00p.m. until 4:30p.m. at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby.

Stephen John Perry
March 26, 1955 - December 13th, 2022
Peacefully passed away, with family by his side, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 67.
Beloved husband of Janis.
Loving father of David (Lauren) Perry, Mathew Perry, the late Christopher Perry, and Lindsey (Sean) Hewlett.
Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Caiden, Cameron, Abigail, and Jonas.
Dear brother of Lisa Perry and son-in-law of Ann Selleck.
Predeceased by his parents Jack & Shirley Perry.
Stephen was the President of Perry Mechanical Inc.
He was a devoted business and community man.
He was a contributor to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre, and was an integral part of the team raising funds towards building the centre. He was also Past President of the Rotary Club of Oshawa.
Thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Lakeridge Critical Care Unit for their care and compassion.
A Private Family Service will take place.

September 3, 1929 – November 30, 2022
In Loving Memory of a Dear Mother and Grandmother.
Sheila passed away after a brief illness at the age of 93.
She is deeply mourned by her son Michael, daughter Nancy, son-in-law Jack and every loving granddaughter Mackenzie. Sheila is pre-deceased by her devoted husband Chesney and son John.
Sheila will be forever remembered for her never-ending love and devotion to her family.
They were everything to her and in turn she was everything to them.
She will be so very missed.

Sandra Anne Brown
Unexpectedly passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Michael's Hospital at the age of 80.
Predeceased by Bruce Brown, her loving husband of over 49 years, followed by Bob Devlin, her faithful partner.
Survived by her devoted daughters Sara Runnalls and Jenn Keeler, and sons-in-law Neil Runnalls and Rick Keeler.
Proud Grandma of Josh Keeler, Grace Keeler and Fiona Runnalls.
Sandra will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family, friends and the horse industry.
