1944-2022
Anthony Melvyn Corrigan of Toronto, Canada, passed away Monday May 23, 2022 at the age of 77.
Anthony is dearly missed by his wife, Karen Corrigan; his son, David and daughter-in-law Karen; his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Alexander; his brother Michael, sister-in-law May, niece Louise and family; his brother Chris, sister-in-law Laraine, and nephew Paul; his brother Terry, sister-in-law Pauline, nephew Stephen and family.
Anthony, or Tony as he was known to everyone, was born in Manchester, England on November 22, 1944 to parents Alfred and Elizabeth Corrigan.
They welcomed their son David into the world in 1974.
Tony enjoyed doing many things with Karen and David over the years, such as watching soccer, baseball and basketball, gardening, photography, cycling, and enjoying a good cup of tea.
His family was the most important thing in his life, and he always took an interest in what they were doing, supported them, and cherished being together. He will be dearly missed.
The family will hold a private ceremony. A private family funeral will take place at a later date.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ad ‘Stippy’, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Ad passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on May 23rd at the age of 83.
Beloved husband and best friend of Rikki, proud father of Astrid (Mark), Edward (Nancy), Monique (Brent), and Jason (Cheryl), much-loved Opa to Quintin, Austin, Cassidy, Monique, Taylor, Dawson and Logan. Ad was born in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
Optimistic and adventurous, he left The Netherlands for Canada in 1963. Three months later, he brought the love of his life, Rikki, to Canada too.
They married in 1964 in Toronto and began a life of many accomplishments.
A dedicated husband and family man, Ad was known to put his family first, always.
He had a natural talent for entertaining, cuisine, and business which led him to great success in the hospitality industry. His home was full of love and laughter; everyone was welcome. Ad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2002.

The family of Audrey Sheila Foster sadly announces her passing, peacefully, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, Ontario on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the age of 92.
Much loved wife of the late Gordon Chalmers Foster for 70 years.
Loving mother of Lynn Alcock and her husband Alan, Sheila Iacono and her husband Gaetan, Gordon Foster Jr. and his wife Cathy, Michael Foster and his wife Pamela Hilborne and the late Frank Foster and his widow Naomi London.
Cherished Gramma of Sherry (Neill), Dawn (Harry), Melanie (John), Lisa (William), Daniel (Marika), Stephanie (Tyler), Sera and nine great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Thomas Conrick (Lillian) in Calgary.
Predeceased by brother Frank Conrick and sisters Vera Miller, Norma McComb, June Linn and Lorraine Steimle, Audrey will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Audrey was born April 8, 1930 in Montreal, Quebec to Thomas Stephen Patrick Conrick and Daisy Lilian Cheeper.
Audrey's father was a veteran of the first World War, a member of the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force stationed in Bourgogne, France.
After the war, he returned to civilian life and was employed by the Dominion Oxyen Company at the time of Audrey's birth.
Audrey's mother Daisy was a Life Member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212 Ladies Auxilliary.
Audrey was introduced to the love of her life, Gordon Foster, by her sister Norma who worked with Gordon. Audrey and Gordon were married at St. Gabriel's Parish, 2157 Centre Street, Montreal, Quebec on July 15, 1950.
They honeymooned in New York State and returned to Montreal to reside in Pointe-Saint-Charles.
Audrey and Gordon raised their family in several areas of Montreal and Chateauguay over the next 40 years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Audrey primarily was a stay at home mother and enjoyed cooking and baking for the family. Her much loved specialties were baking powder biscuits, butter tarts and nanaimo bars. Audrey bought a Singer sewing machine in the 1960's, took courses and enjoyed sewing clothing for her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was appreciated for her men's shirts, children's outfits, halloween costumes and for beautiful dresses for baptisms, flower girls and brides.
Audrey and Gordon moved to Wasaga Beach, Ontario after Gordon's retirement for two years and then on to Brantford to be close to Audrey's siblings, their families and several close friends.
At this time, since her children had grown, Audrey became very interested in other crafts. Besides sewing, she excelled in rug hooking, plastic canvas kits and decoupage. She took college courses and received her diploma in Paper Tole.
Audrey made many beautiful pictures for family members and friends. Audrey and Gordon then moved into retirement living in Whitby, Ontario in 2011 and then to Fairview Lodge in the summer of 2016.
When living at Fairview Lodge, Audrey was in the Resident Spotlight in August 2021.
Photos of her artwork were in the newsletter and she was recognized as a true artist.
They could not believe the amount of talent, time and effort put into her art pieces.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Libby and all the nurses, personal support workers, physiotherapists, dietary, recreation, hairdresser, volunteers and all other staff at Fairview Lodge for their excellent care and compassion over the many years that Audrey resided there.
A memorial service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday May 30th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception and Celebration of her life.

Alex John Henry (Howie) Dykstra passed away at the age of 60.
He is survived by his daughter Ainsley. Predeceased by his loving parents, Ike (2015) and Ali (2021) Dykstra.
He will be missed by his sisters, Jeannette Tamming ( Rob ), Lorraine Dykstra ( Jeff), and several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins here and in the Netherlands.
He will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Aurora Margarita Cudia, in her 72nd year of life at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on May 13, 2022.
Aurora will be dearly missed by her loving daughter, Ann Busuego; son-in-law, Avelino Busuego; grandchildren, Aveann, Aveonna and Aevann Busuego.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Marlon Enarsao; sister-in-law, Epifania Enarsao, and nephews/nieces Frandel, Charlene, Charisse, and Jonas Enarsao.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Avelino Cudia; son, Alaindreck Cudia; brother, Marvin Enarsao, and her parents, Delfin and Lydia Enarsao.
Aurora also called Nanay, Inday, Margie, Tita Au, Sister Au, and Ma’am Au by many made friends easily during her life and was loved for being the sweet, caring, joyful and compassionate person she is.
After she became a widow, she devoted her time, love, and life in taking care of her son, daughter, and grandchildren.

30, of Pickering, Ontario, passed away on May 12th after a sudden, fatal car accident.
Alexander was born on Friday June 7th to Allan and Gemma Brown at Centenary hospital in Scarborough, Ontario at 8:38 PM.
Alexander graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School in 2010.
He had a great love of sports and loved to play everything from hockey to baseball and football.
As an adult Alex worked many jobs trying to find his true passion.
He settled on construction and joined the union, Local 183, in 2020 kickstarting his short but meaningful career.
In 2016, Alexander met Sabika Kashani and fell in love instantly.
Alexander and Sabika married in 2021 and are currently expecting their first child together.
