Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Extendicare Oshawa, in his 91st year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife June. Loving father of Bob Mitchell (Cathy), Debbie Fraser (the late Bill), and Cathy Mitchell (the late Glenn).
Dear grandfather of Shannon, Michael, Kaylin, William (Brittany), Cameron, and Taylor and great-grandfather of Marley.
Robert retired from the Toronto Police Association, 32 Division after many years of dedicated service as a Police Officer.
He was also an active member of the Dorset Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, and the Canadian Snowbird Association.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 12-1 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.

Robert was born Dec. 15, 1943 in Tunbridge Wells,County of Kent,United Kingdom.
Predeceased by mother, Chloris Edith Spruce and father Albert Ellis Spruce .
He married Judy (Webster) Lawrence on Jan. 11, 2005.
Robert took on the role of father to daughters Rachael Lawrence, Kimberly Scheibenpflug (Josh),and son Dennis Lawrence (Mandy) .
He proudly wore the title of Gramps and Papa to Angelina,Colten,Spencer,
Madison,Caleb ,Chelsea,Ciara and Abby.
Robert also inherited a family of loved ones; Rhonda Lawrence Jessup (Jeff) and Deniel Lawrence. He had such a beautiful extended family .
He married into an already made family with lots of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robert was an instructor at Durham College in Oshawa,and was an example to every one of his students.
In addition to his many accomplishments, he was also the proud owner of Computer Techs Oshawa for 15 years. He was well known in the community, cultivating respect and admiration for his expertise and professionalism.
A Celebration of Roberts' Life will take place Sunday November 27th, 2022 at 2PM. Held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, 471 Simcoe St S, Oshawa ON ,L1H 4J7.

Passed away on November 22, 2022, at Ajax-Pickering Hospital in his 69th year, with his family at his side.
Predeceased by his parents Albert and Betty Blake.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings Allan (Joan), Christine (Tom) and Susan.
Also left to mourn are his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Rick enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was a devout Argos fan and was ecstatic to see them win the Grey Cup.
At Rick’s request, private family cremation has taken place.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Florence Ruby Lowe, born May 13, 1934 in Utica, Ontario, announce her passing on November 21, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Ruby was married to her soulmate John on September 4, 1954, and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage.
Ruby was predeceased by John in August 2022, and by her parents Irene (Thompson) and Joe Ward as well as her sister Jean.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters Irene Leahy (Joe) and Janet Hartshorne (Norm).
Ruby will be missed by her three grandchildren Megan Leahy (Chris), Lauren Isherwood (Kyle) and Eric Hartshorne (Rebecka). She also had three great grandchildren, Otto, Parker and Ellie.
Her greatest love in life was her husband, her two daughters and her grandchildren.
Mom had many friends and was especially grateful for Jacqueline Cook (Smith) with whom she shared a dear friendship for over 80 years – many thanks, Jacquie.
We are so sorry that we had to say such a quick goodbye, Mom.The teachings and memories you have left us with are everlasting.
We will carry you in our hearts till the end of time.
Visitation will be DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa, on Saturday December 3rd from 12:00pm - 1:45pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:45pm.

Rick fought against this devastating disease for the last 7+ years, losing his ability to speak, eat and drink, and finally to breathe, but it could never take his spirit and sense of humor.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on November 18, 2022.
Born April 8, 1951 he was in his 72nd year.
He will be missed by his family.
He is survived by his sister Eleanor Bagshaw (William predeceased) and his brother Dave Beare; his nieces and nephews Karen O’Leary (Dennis), William Bagshaw Jr. (Carol), Richard Bagshaw (Elizabeth), Colin Beare (Crystal) and Kayla Beare (William); his sister-in-law Lynne Beare; and he was the special uncle to Christopher and Michael Timmins.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Doreen Beare, and his sister Marilyn.
Ron was a dedicated 40-year employee of Canada Post, Uxbridge.
A quiet man with a big heart and a great sense of humour.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Ray passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17th, 2022 with Brenda by his side at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry after a hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 66.
Ray, is survived by his two daughters Sacha and Amanda and four brothers Craig, Mike, Brian and David and predeceased by his brother Jim.
Beloved companion of Brenda MacPherson and great role model to her children Fiona, Diane and Nikki and their families.
